Just finished installing my new tail section. Bought it off Ebay and modified it to get rid of the cheesegrater. Real happy with the results. Took only a couple of hours to cut off and grind down to what I was looking for. I am going to repaint over the winter though because it came out a lot more gold looking than I want. Thinking of doing anodized red or just match it up with silver to the frame rails. Not bad for a girl. LOL. Believe it or not the turn signal brackets are from a gate hardware kit and it is screwed into the bottom using the original screws. I think everything looks great. What do you guys think?

Looks really good. I wish I would have done that instead of forking out the $$$ for mine. I'm wanting to paint the side rails the same color as the tail light surround piece. It's a charcoal gray metallic color. Keep up the good work, DVL GRL. |

That tail piece looks really good for anyone! I cut my own down the night I brought it home from the dealer. My wife came home and found me with the grinder, going to town. She said "What, are you cutting on your new bike!" I told her I'm fixing it. Perplexed, she shook her head and walked in the house. These bikes are really easy to work on and the after market is huge. |
