my friend is on the short side and he is buying a 00 m2 off this site. can he put a m2L seat on this bike to make it easier to touch the ground? if so how much would it lower the seat height? and where can he find the seat? also what are some other options to lower the seat height so he can touch the ground more flat footed? thank you for your help. |

I put an M2L seat on my standard 2000 M2L. The seat really isn't that much lower, but it's lot flatter where the rider sits. The kickup for the passenger feels further back too. I got the seat because I raised the rear ride height on my bike and wanted to get my butt a little lower over the bike. The scalloped saddle also looks racier, in my opinion. The only other option is changing or modifying the suspension to match the M2L's. I'm pretty sure there is an M2L owner out there somewhere who wants the regular suspsension. Find that owner! |

I put an M2L seat on my 2000 M2 and it is approx. 1.5-2 in. lower. Not much but better. Try here and of course Ebay. Not as much padding but I also wanted to sit lower. |
