I've decided to not worry about the bike for a while. At this point I've barely ridden it at all this season, and I don't really have the time to worry about trying to fix whatever is wrong with it (probably the stator, but who knows). I dropped my insurance on it to comp only, and I'm just going to worry about it this winter when I have more time. I'm done with school in February, and I have a break from Christmas to the 2nd week of January so I'll probably try to do something then. I don't really know how riding became such a low priority to me, but at this point it has. I may consider selling the bike next spring depending on how much XBs are going for. | ||

On Sunday Aug. 12th Ride through the Flint Hills. West of Topeka. Beautiful roads and scenery. Will post meeting time and place either the 5th or 6th of Aug. Meeting place will be over here in Topeka. Not sure of the exact time and place yet. Oh Yeah Topeka is ONLY 1hr. away from KC. don't mean to gross anyone out, but I think if you ride you should see this. It happened on I-44 near Tulsa this week I think The truck driver felt something happen and it took him about 1/4 mile to stop   | ||

Hate to be a debbie downer but I just got back from the scene of my roommate's accident on 435/holmes. He was DOA.(most of you probably didn't know Geoff, he hung around fuel and always wore full leathers, just got out of the army couple yrs ago) Just a reminder to ride safe and stay ahead of yourself.
