This afternoon, I was having lunch at Gus's in East Troy, when another motorcycle pulled into the lot and parked next to my Super TT. Imagine my surprise when I realized it was the new 1125r sitting in front of me. I got so distracted that I left all my stuff on the counter inside and walked outside to check it out. The gentleman riding the bike was a Buell R&D man named Curt (Kurt?). We talked for quite a while, and it was evident that the Buell folks are proud of the products they make. I eventually asked to sit on the bike, and he said OK. As others have already said, this bike feels fairly comfortable. The pegs aren't too high, and their placement let my knees feel pretty good. The bars aren't too far forward either, and this is after riding about 90 miles on my STT before trying the 1125r on for size. Very cool! I think I'm going to have to get on the list for one of these bikes. The only real concern I had was the seating position, and my opportunity to sit on one has erased that concern. The bike really looks great in person, and the neat little details are everywhere you look on this bike. I can't wait for the 1125r to start rolling off the line.... George |

Well, did he fire it up? Did you get to hear it running? Does it shake, rattle and roll like the XBs? |

"Does it shake, rattle, and roll like the XB's?) No, no shake rattle or roll seen when they had the bike running at Laguna. I had a hand on the l/s bar and it was very smooth. And no isolators so no motor rock and roll. |
