Had a great time at the demo ride toady. I evaluated the CityX for the wife (the last time I "evaluated" a bike at a demo ride, I bought her a Blast...uh-oh) Some poor guy dropped a demo Lightning exiting a parking lot. The bike pinned him down, broke a peg and the front brake lever. He needed help getting the bike off of him, and he was limping a bit. That sucks. Got to talk at length with 2 other Badwebbers (OK, bad memory...who were the guys I was talking to at the cut-away of the 1125R? I was the guy with the Buell-Vanson jacket) Oh, yeah...I didn't know they'd be there, but there were 2 1125Rs (not to ride) one was the cut-away. Very cool. I also got my bike blessed by one of the guys from the local Christian Harley club (Black Sheep.) I'll take all the help from above that I can get. All told, a great time! |

I went last year and bought my CityX later that week! I'd go this week, but we just had our baby girl last Friday, so I am out this year for good reason. --Sean |

LOL... I was the guy in the black T shirt with Buell in white block letters. I was standing next to Robert when you walked up and spoke to him. That close... |

I was there too on Saturday. Had to wait two hours for my turn on the Firebolt; but the cookout, band, and general attitude everyone had made for a great time. I've wanted to test ride for so very long. After I got off, I couldn't stop smiling or shut up about it to my friend on the drive back up to Simi Valley. I was also happily surprised that the '08's were in the test fleet already. Getting to ride the white Firebolt that is my desktop both at work and home was frosting on the cake! I am willing to bet I pick one up within the next year. Many thanks to California H-D.
