Hey Tank, Will that work with a HP Ipaq running WM5? I was thinking about ordering one of those systems so that I don't have to rely on the dealer. I've got the PDA just need the interface. Either way, I think I want to partake of your generosity with the TPS reset too. |

Van/Mel.. The word is: if your bike runs "fine" then you don't need a reset. The software is free from the Technoresearch website. What costs money is the "cable", which hosts a small chip to make the voltage/signals compatible with user friendly hardware. I have seen the work that goes into the cable, and the price they charge does not make much profit. I'll be happy to do it for ya, anytime, but I also support the folks who put the time and effort into making it possible. Mad Props! Mike, I like the Blue. It's what the S/E white lightning should have been. |

Anyone going? This would be expensive to get the required gear but I would love to do it. http://www.buell.com/en_us/news_events/EventDetail s.asp?locale=en_US&bmLocale=en_US&id=3916&type=BUE &dealer=0 Van |

The word is: if your bike runs "fine" then you don't need a reset. I'm not sure if "fine" is an accurate description. My MPG is way off. I used to get 200+ from a before the low fuel warning, since the CEL issue, I now get ~125 during the times when we go out and right at 100 for "Urban" / commuting. Thats about a 35% reduction in MPG. (...I don't know why I do the math on this stuff) |

Mel - 200+ before reserve... that is incredible! I only get ~130, cruising 65-75 on the highway but that is still in the ballpark for 50ish mpg. Van |

Van, I have been signed up since the news first broke back in March(I think), and booked a hotel room then as well. I'll be there, and so will other Buellers... See this thread: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/37/ 262313.html?1185400580 Mel, I don't get that kind of mileage out of my 9, even when it was stock. 45-55 mpg sounds about where it's supposed to be. On our ride last Sat, I got right at 55mpg. |

Mel Just leave the hammer at home and bring the lightning out Saturday morning and you will get a real good test loop for mileage. Mike |

Where is the nearest track to do this stuff? Sounds like fun as long as cost doesn't get out of control. |

Kevin the McD's is at the intersection of Lynnhaven Prkwy and Lynnhaven Rd right off of the Lynnhaven south exit from 264EB(East Bound!! Tank) 8:00 am saturday. You can't miss it. No tolls approx miles 80-100 maybe more or less on how we feel. Mike |

We'll see how much I can get done today and tomorrow, I've got to get the roof on before it starts to rain again. But for the opportunity to see Kevin and Tank in the same place, I may need to play hookie!!! Kevin... If you do go, what time do you think you'd hit 664? And do you and Tank think ya'll will hookup first for the ride to the south side? |

Anybody What's with the "bump" responses in the classified section? I know I'm out of it but I did not think i was that far out of it. Thanks Mike |

Kev, That's the WAWA! Don't bitch at me about the time, Mike's the one who wants to meet at 8am in VaBeach! (actually, I leave the house at 6:30 for work every day, so no biggie here) Mike, What are these "Bumps" you speak of? People post a "Bump" to "bump" the post back to the top of the list. The thing they don't realize is that the classifieds don't work like the "Quick Board", where a new post in a thread puts it back to the top of the page. In the Classified section, the posts stay in the order that they are created. Clear as mud??? |

See you there in the morning. Bring a rain jacket for the p.m. Tank - Keith Code's Superbike School will be at VIR the week prior to track day. Do you know how much track time you get for the one-day class? Van |

Van, I don't know much about the Keith Code school, but I would imagine it to be similar to Cornerspeed. At the Riderschool, we had one 20min track session per hour, one 20min class session per hour, and a 20min break. From about 9am to 5pm. Except for lunch hour, when there were no riders on track. p.s. Brats and Beer for dinner tonight. Ya'll may not want to ride behind me tomorrow. (Message edited by Tank_Bueller on July 27, 2007) |

Kevin I'm back to believing that Tank is using Kmfw160 as a ghost screen name and you truly do not exist, of course I could be wrong, but maybe not? Prove me wrong come out and ride with us Tank and Van Me and my exhaust issues again. At least I'm glad that plan B was up to the challenge. A good fun ride at a decent pace. Just wondering Tank are you trading your lightning in for a Schwinn road bike. The way back was fun with less traffic , well except for that big rig. I'm glad you got through that Van. It was a good ride!! Mel You missed a good one!! Mike |

Good ride today ya'll. Thanks Mike! It was nice to goof-off in the back for a change. Now, if we can just keep your pipe from trying to dismount like it was at the olympics, we might be ok. |

Hey we all should share some of our favorite roads and if you're not opposed to playing on the southside I'm willing to lead the way. As far as my exhaust goes I ordered a new header today and most likely will order the rest on monday, it's coming factory direct. So it is being built to order aprox delivery date 5 days plus shipping. So this should solve my exhaust olympic trials. Mike |

"favorite roads" I purposely didn't lead the "group" through my favorite road because it would have been totally unsafe and irresponsible on my part.(although we passed right by it). Although there is almost no traffic, it's one lane, and there is likely dirt/gravel in some tight turns, and it includes some of the path we traveled. If you don't know the road, you will meet Mr. Tree, or Head-On(apply directly to your maker) Having said that, I would like to do a "favorite roads" tour, but you may have to sign a release to follow me....fast. And I would not expect anyone else to accept responsibility if I try to plow a new road. WOW, that was deep. Cow/fence...you know. Tank |

Tank and Mike forgot to mention that the best part of the ride were the female cyclists who almost caused us to wreck going across the bridge. Mike - when I was waiting to turn on 264, there was a red Lightning that honked at me going northbound on Witchduck behind you. Did you run into him at SouthSide HD? Van |

AHHHH!!!! Hey Kevin... I'm on the Pen. Pick a day in the afternoon and I'll meet up with ya to verify your existence! NP... then when we go up to Poe's or something and you can't make it, I'll say "Yup!" It isn't Tank. Yeah Van - That was me. I was trying to get over to the open house about the same time I figured you guys would be finishing the ride. I was counting on you crashing the HD Party in force. But I see that wasn't the case. The bad part was I still missed the food. (I was hungry too) But sitting on the 25th Anniversary Edition Firebolt, and my tasty new T-Shirt was worth almost getting run off the road twice. Sorry I missed the ride guys. I'm glad I did though, cause I would have had a 12 foot tall Tub/pool with all that rain if I didn't get that roof on. |
