Are there any major magazines (either print or online) which will be publishing a test of, or comparison including, the 1125R in the near future? I'm beginning to suspect that the 1125R is going to be a faster bike in the hands of an amateur than the liter class sport bikes from Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, and Yamaha. The guys (like me) who sometimes find themselves a gear high or low seem very likely to benefit from the wide torque curve of the 1125R. A magazine test is likely to either confirm or refute this. |

October - look for it on covers with "initial impressions" next month with teasers inviting you to stay tuned for a full test. (Message edited by court on July 24, 2007) |

I heard something about an upcoming event at Laguna for media only--IIRC it was next month. |

media only . . . being the key words. But . . . the sun shines brightly. . . plans are underway to place genuine human Buell enthusiasts aboard as soon as possible. |

i am trying to figure out how to score a ride. work says they cant send me to the thing at rode america because i am not in harleys system as a bike sales person even though im the one who deals with all things buell here. we are going rounds about that anyway... its pissing me off that a salesman that dislikes buells is going simply because he is in the system as a bike sales person and they needed someone to fill the spot. |

That is a true injustice Tim. I hope you get it resolved before the event. |

<----------Genuine Human Buell Enthusiast WITH good canyon roads at the end of my driveway... I followed a Ford GT down the spars one day long before they were released. I think if Ford uses that road for testing then Buell could too... I'll do it for free. I'm sure you'll want someone who knows the road well to reduce liability and all that... Even if you don't let ME ride it... I'll run the road first on the firebolt to clear out all the police and then the test rider can follow in relative peace... |

Special "Grazie" to our friends at www.tribu6800.com The Motociclismo editorial, written by a fellow I know and admire, pretty much says it all. Don't miss it.
Oh yes . . . and I love Buell Racing in Italy.
I'm going to Italy to look at the Buells . . . no, REALLY dear! |

"I'm going to Italy to look at the Buells . . . no, REALLY dear!" if I was standing between those two beautiful women, I don't think I would notice the Buells! At least it would be hard to stay focused on the motorcycles. |

I'll wait for a RoadracingWorld write-up. They're usually the last to test a bike but the most thorough. I don't need to know how readable the instruments are or how comfy the seat is, I want the real facts! |

"I heard something about an upcoming event at Laguna for media only--IIRC it was next month." --------------------------------- Is August 19th the day the moto-journalista ride the Super Buell at Laguna and send out ride impressions? Can't wait! |

Love the mag pics from Italy - the Juggies notwithstanding, LOL. First shots I've seen that really show it has a blue frame. Great contrast, I love it...brings some depth to the profile view. <sigh>...VIR, or Pocono...VIR or Pocono... ;) |
