When I first saw the 1125R. My buddy said "Scoops, thats odd" I responed, naw I have seen rotax powered sport bike with underslung exhaust and twin radiators side mounted with scoops. Nothing new. He called me out on it, and I could not remember exactly where is saw it. I wrote it off as a dream or a brain fart. But, today looking for some pics on my puter, I found it! If the 1125R had those scoop "gills" it would really look like a hammerhead shark. |

The CR&S is only a 650cc motorcycle, cool looking, not my bag of tea though. |

Yet another place I have been seeing them for a few years is the pro stock Buells that run in NHRA drag races and which I might add are dominant in that class at least right now, and with "pushrod outdated" engines. I do believe though they are for top end air intake only. Function over form (looks) there. Now where in the world did that outrageous notion come from? |

I doubt they work as well and/or route cool air to the riders leg like the 1125... |

I stopped at the "paint" picture too . . . I think I am becoming an "artsy kinda guy". If Erik was there . . . he doesn't stand a chance without body paint. Er . .. wait . . . never mind. |

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, OH PLEASE, BUELL GODS, MAKE AN 1125R VERSION THAT LOOKS AS GOOD (or better) AS THESE LOOK AND I'LL HAVE ONE OF THE FIRST! I love the look of these bikes. If I could get the naked version of the 1125R, I would be in heaven! If you can throw in some body paint, I might even get Mrs. FB to match the bike! |
