I could really use that seat, as mine is really ratty. my dealer traded me the low seat for a torn up rider's edge reject seat that i'd planned on recovering, but the time escaped from me and now I ride with a ripped up seat. i'd pay for shipping of course to 63028. just let me know |

No problem Erik. ATM I make poor look like an understatement b/c I just moved and am paying through the nose for everything and classes haven't even started yet. BUT if you can hang onto it for a bit I WILL take it off your hands at $50 which seems very fair to me. Thanks either way! I'm think the hardest parts to find will be the front fender and rear tail parts in black. I've never seen either for sale/trade anywhere but I'm sure they're out there. Looking for the "tall" seat or even seat pan (rebuildable) for '01 blast. |

Yes I have a tall seat (actually 2). One is almost brand new and I have the box it came in. The other is used with some minor tears where it contacts the tank (later seats have plastic guards to prevent that from happening-I can include them if you'd like). Are you looking for a perfect seat or one to rebuild? |

Hey I'm looking for a tall seat as well. I'm about 6' so the tall would seem a better bet than the short it came with.........cheers!! |

Hi, I just got my first Blast (my first bike!) Anyone got a tall seat they want to get rid of? The low seat is not made for long legs! I could trade my low seat (but you'd have to send the tall one first so I can still ride :-( Thanks! |

I have a tall seat, if anyone wants to pay postage or maybe trade for a stock black fly screen. It has no tears, but looks like it may have seen some time sitting in the sun. The Corbin made the stock seat redundant. Shipping is from Iowa. PM me if you want it. Paul |

Any stock speedo dashes for sale? I need one to reference for the mold. I found a machine shop locally that is interested in creating a form/mold for an awesome billet dash to accomodate the speedo and a mini tach. I plan on re-selling them on my eBay store. totolandman |

Looking for a set of stock rims for the Blast. If anyone has a set can you please let me know what you are asking for them. I have found a shop that will fully polish the entire set of rims. I am going for a retro Cafe style look with a mix of chrome, black, silver, and aluminum. Cheers, totolandman |

Hi, another tall seat request. I have a tall seat on mine, but for some reason the padding is jello soft and when I sit on it a blast of air comes out of it and it shrinks like a pillow to a short seat. It's ok in the city but I can only get about 40 minutes on it before my posterior is pooped. Let me know price. |

Rainman: You're likely going to be disappointed getting a different tall seat. Most are very mushy, although the seat I had off a 2000 Blast was perfect (firm with a little bit of spring). You could pull the cover off the seat and add stiffer padding or replace much of it with stiffer padding. The cover goes back on with an electric staple gun or tacker. There are several ways to do it. I would recommend using duck tape to compress the exiting padding, then use stiff padding on top of it. Heavy or commercial carpet padding works as well or tent padding (roll that goes under a sleeping bag). Or anything else to fill the void. The padding can also be pulled off and a stiff filler added, then compress again with duct tape. |

From a previous post: Front & rear wheels for sale. Rear wheel with good Dunlop tire (25%used), rotor and pulley (8000 miles). The pulley guard has some scraping from saddlebags rubbing on the belt guard. I'll change the guard out if someone is really interested, but I wont replace the sprocket bolts. $60 + shipping (about $35) (less than the price of a new Dunlop!). Front wheel with usable (not great, but not bald) tire and good rotor. $40+ shipping (about $30). Both wheels are in good shape and very clean (for 7 year old wheels). I'll knock of a few $$ if the pulley and rotors arent wanted. -------------------------------------------- I've still got them. They need to be shipped separately as it costs much more to ship them together. I do have a potential buyer on the front, so I'd have to ask him if he still wants it first. Rear Wheel Is Sold!
