I've seen a few threads on here over the past year about what 'other' rides folks have, so hopefully someone can chime in. I've just picked up an old ( 85) BMW K100RT touring bike - basically something for the LONG mountain trips I do each summer that I can take luggage, and the GF on. been looking for a BMW page similar to badweb without much luck - anyone on here got a constructive suggestion? PS - had the GF ROTLHFAO: went for our first long ride today, and sure enough, I found the ends of the pegs! doh!!! |

Graçias for the links. My boss also owns the local BMW shop, and the brick came through as a trade in - fun bike so far, and it'll be my commuter to leave outside the shop, but having met a lot of beemer owners in-and-out at work, I'll see how the websites go: the general attitude seems a wee bit different to here on badweb. |

Good score! Let me know if any other cool, cheap, old beemers come through ala R60 etc, looking for an antique for Penny. |

Not sure if they're sold already or not, but there are an R60, and an R90 in the back right now. Not sure if they were traded or consigned, and they're waiting for some parts to revert them to stock ( had butt-ugly wind-jammer front ends on them) let me know if you're you looking for a project, or a rider, and I can find out some more info for you. |
