Anyone riding to Carlisle, PA for their Bike weekend at the fairgrounds this Saturday? XB9er and myself and maybe a few other non Buells will be riding down from Altoona. If you are going, lets meet at the corner of the grandstand across from the "stage" at noon. My Buell will be donning the Cherry Bomb plastics with black Firebolt tail and have the saddle bags and tank bag. Hopefully I'll have one of my new red rubber CityX "X"'s on it. |

AS a matter of fact.... I was out wondering around the Frederick county roads today, winding my way back home....when off in the distance came a pair of unmistakable Buell headlights..... as we passed each other, I just knew by the twist of his head , he was gonna turn around... I pulled over, and sure enough, up pulls Ras... now, this is the first time we met.. but he recognized my bike ( at about a 90mph pass by / combined speed ) We talked a bit, and hopefully we ( area Buellers ) will get together and ride soon... I am looking forward to meeting a lot of you guys that i have heard of or read posts by... |

Yo, still here. Hey all. Deerhunter! We finally meet. Good talking to you and your bike is schweet in person! I knew who it was as soon as I noticed the flames. I had to turn around. Yesterday and today we're great days to be out on the road. We've got to get back to doing rides together people. I've been riding with a few folks from DCSportbikes.com. Usually very small group runs around Frederick. Fun, but just not the same as riding with Buelligans. Next Sunday I was planning on riding Skyline drive for the first time. Weather right now looks sketchy for next weekend, but if it's 30% chance of rain or lower it's on. All are welcome, we can meet at HD Frederick, or somewhere along the way. I need someone to lead, volunteers welcome. |

cool let me know okay, haven't made any reservations yet. Waiting on you Ras! Looks like I'm going to teach for Old Glory this weekend. I was talking to Brad he said they are getting a couple of 1125R's really soon, I think near the open house event they're having. Any other dealer getting them in this year? K |

Buell to Celebrate 25th Anniversary with Riders in 2008 Details of July 2-6 Events in Wisconsin to be Announced in the Coming Months EAST TROY, Wis. (July 26, 2007) – Fresh off its successful 2007 Homecoming events, Buell Motorcycle Company has announced the dates of the 2008 Buell 25th Anniversary activities in Wisconsin next summer. The events will take place July 2-6, 2008 at various locations, including the Buell Motorcycle Company facilities in East Troy, Wis. and other surrounding communities. “We just had a great time celebrating our 2007 Homecoming with Buell owners, riders and enthusiasts,” said Erik Buell, Chairman and Chief Technical Officer. “We also announced the launch of our exciting new liquid-cooled 1125R motorcycle. For 2008, we will be marking a major milestone, so we want the Buell 25th Anniversary celebration to be very special and to reflect the unique personality of the Company and our riders.” Attendance at the 2007 Buell Homecoming beat all previous records and generated much excitement about the 25th Anniversary events in 2008. Besides announcing the new 1125R sportbike, Buell also announced that all 2008 models except the Blast will carry a commemorative badge featuring Erik’s signature. Highlights of 2007 Buell Homecoming events included self-guided factory tours, a lunch with Erik and Buell employees, technical seminars, autographs with Erik and stunt rider Bubba Blackwell, a vintage Buell motorcycle display, hospitality for owners at the ASRA Pro/CCS and MOTO-ST motorcycle races at Road America including a racer autograph session and a parade lap of the track. Local Buell dealers also hosted events including Team Extreme stunt riders at Hal’s Harley-Davidson/Buell in New Berlin, Wis., followed by a ride to Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove, Wis. for the Midwest Shootout, and a Uke’s Harley-Davidson/Buell ride from East Troy to Kenosha, Wis., with a Bubba Blackwell performance at Uke’s along with a cookout and museum tour. With more details and announcements coming soon, some of the events planned for the Buell 25th Anniversary Homecoming include music and festivities at Milwaukee’s Summerfest Grounds, racing, plant tours, bike displays, demo rides, stunt shows, dealership activities and more. See the owners section of www.buell.com for additional information and updates. I realize it's a long way off but is anyone considering going next year? |

There was only two of us from Maryland this year - a poor showing. May I suggest when Buell announces the actual events we take a head count and get together to formulate some plans. |

We'll since I haven't been there yet, I've decided to head on out tomorrow, possible weather and all. Leaving @ 9. We'll take 32 to 99 to 94 to Hoods Mill road and various other local roads to New Market (10 AM). There's a Dunkin Donuts (across from Mc D's) where we'll stop get gas and pick up anyone else. Then, I figure we ride to Summit point where we can meet/pickup anyone else. Not sure when we'll get there, around 11 is my best guess. I'm not familiar with the roads past this point so unless someone shows up that knows the area, expect a gaggle to Front Royal. The pace for this ride is my pace which is not knee draggin, but it ain't ass draggin either. |

Nice ride today with the DC/MD/VA guys leaving from Ft. Washington HD/Buell. Paul(Pellis) and Jose Q, thanks again for a great ride on the southern MD backroads. Thanks Steve(Turnagain) for the pictures. Hey, Lars(2kx1) and Rick(Buellshyter), great to ride with you guys again. Rick, whats up with your bike? Hope you made it back up to North Balt. OK. We'll do it again next month. Hopefully, it won't be so HOT! Brian |

Rick, glad to hear that Scott at Baltimore is taking care of you. Yeah, I've known the rim has been in for a while. Tough to find a day off to get it changed. Maybe next week I 'll call Scott to schedule. Let us know about the repair. Curious... |

That was a fun ride, I never get bored riding those roads, there are twisties in Southern Maryland! Great job by Paul and everybody else keeping up with him! Rick, let us know what they find about the bike. I was worried when you left it running at our break stop that it would melt in front of us, that FAN will die of fatigue!
