You could always get a set of the new blue wheels that will be on some of the '08s. The stripes do look good; especially for the price. (Message edited by Crusty on July 19, 2007) |

Looks great! Been thinking of doing that myself. What brand name are the stripes? Could you describe a little more your experience/method of installation? Thanks, EV |

I like it also. I considered doing this, but was afraid they wouldn't look round. --Sean (Message edited by thespive on July 19, 2007) |

Yeah, me too. Any tricks to getting them on straight? Or curved, whatever you know what I mean... |

I bought them from a seller named " dunstangraffix " The guy has treated me strait. As to the install mine are not perfect but it is hard to tell. I was instructed by a decal shop to use a spray bottle with about 4 drops of dish soap (dawn) in it. I cleaned my wheels and then sprayed the wheel. I then sprayed the decal and put the piece on ( there are 4 per wheel) I was able to move it around by keeping it wet. Once I got it where I wanted it, I lightly squeegeed the water from the vinyl. After you get the water out they are set like window tint. The kit came with spares. I am not that great at it and my turned out ok mail me at mr1spd to the yahoo. |

I have red/orange rim stripes on mine. They ended up being more red than I would have liked. Tapeworks and others sell pre-curved kits that help you to avoid trouble with the layout. |
