How soon after bikes are shipped to dealers could we expect to be able to buy a factory service manual? I personally would like to be able to do at least oil changes properly myself. The great warranty will cover other things I expect. |

Thanks Blake, I do not see why somebody near the factory cannot answer this. It has been posted twice. My deposit is already down so it will not matter to me one way or the other. HD will not loose my service by not selling me a manual, I won't go to them here locally anyways except "MAYBE" to use the warranty and I'm even wary of doing that. I just want to keep a marvelous machine as near perfect as possible. |

Backing up here. Court posted "they will be available when the first bike ships" Thats great news for us who prefer doing the maintenance ourselves. Thanks much Court. I'm also betting all I might have to do is change oil! |

I did. They will. I deleted the post, not wanting to steal the thunder (inside term) of others. |

Bob: If you are in a bind of the dealer has any problem producing the books at delivery, let me know. . . I can handle that one. I'm a construction worker and we have ways of making things happen.
