I noticed that the shift lever has no linkage... How do we convert it to GP shift (or does it come that way from the factory?)? Thanks in advance. |

You will need to convert it to linkage if you want it reversed. There is a boss for that on the footpeg mount. We chose to not use linkage on the standard setup to avoid wear points and slop for most people. |

I just changed the plastic busings on my XB shift linkage and it made a huge improvement. Having no linkage is optimal! |

The more I look, the better it gets. And it looked pretty damn good from the beginning. Don't produce the "other river" until I pay off the 9sx. |

Spatten, I am considering it as well. Shifitng gets considerably tight on warm afternoons--to a point where i have use some thigh to upshift at times. Did you replace the black bushings that are actually in shifter itself (where the bolt goes thru?) |

Did you replace the black bushings that are actually in shifter itself (where the bolt goes thru?) That is correct. However, I did it to get rid of excess play, to tighten up the linkage. Something sounds screwy with yours. |

Does that imply that there will be a nice reversed-pattern shift kit from the factory soon so we won't have to wait for an expensive version from the aftermarket? |
