Can you guys' make it to the "Cornerstone Bakery" in Swansea by 8a? Good Portugese food and excellent Portugese styled French toast. It is located ON route #6 just of route 195 between exits 2 and 3. It's on the north side of rt.6. Then we can do ANY loop.Sue is not riding but...attending church service. The "Cornerstone" is where i'll be at 8a.C'mon over! |

Well I've just spent the day working around the house in the gardens...thay now FINALLY look like gardens. We're eating dinner soon, watching the game...and then also headed out to Harry Potter for the late movie...less kids. Tomorrow I've got some car work and wood to cut so I'm going to be missing tomorrows ride. Enjoy - have fun!!! |

Calling all cars (bikes), calling all cars (bikes), we have multiple moving violations predicted in the vicinity of "The Loop" tomorrow after 8am and a lot of food! And I need to show off my new Rizomas! See you at the Cornerstone, Greg. Where ARE all these slackers, anyways? |

Dan, you are racing next week too? Or are you doing a track day. If you are racing, I will be there on Saturday for the Rookie race and then Sunday for Novice Thunderbike and one other class that I haven't desided on yet. |

I can't count how many times I've followed Greg down those roads, but for the life of me I couldn't tell you where any of them are. Too busy trying to stay upright to pay any mind to my whereabouts, I guess. |

Eric - I'm supposed to have my tires tomorrow. I was thinking of getting the wheels off the bike and bringing them and the new tires to your place in the truck...what is the special tool to pop the axle out of the bearings? Maybe I'll have something similar or arrange to come down and pick it up...let me know. |

The special tools for pulling the axle are as follows: 1) Patience 2) Elbow grease 3) Heat gun We sat there and I cranked the axle in and out maybe 20 times, all while Eric was hitting it with the heat gun and WD-40 (?) before it finally decided to let go. |

Hey- Anybody wanna help change out a starter in an Xterra this weekend? I'm pretty sure mine ist kaput. All you need to bring is brains and labor. Beer & BBQ will be provided... I got what the job needs (I think). I've been in touch with the offices of Pain Killer Cycles and his advice was to test out a bunch of stuff that I don't rightly know how to test out. But I gots me a multimeter... Seriously; sirloin tips, anyone? I'll even do some up well-done (sacrilege) for JP. Nate: Motorcycle-superstore.com. They even undercut my favorite cheap-as-hell-cause-thier-website-sucks parts411.com |

Threw me off talking bikes then trucks..lol Not sure of the year and make but most newer vehicles have the solinoids built in the starter, so a whole unit will most likely need to be replaced. There is also the chance of a loose battery/ground connection. Check the ground on the battery and then the pos. side and follow that connection and be sure it is tight both sides. Battery could be getting a weak cell also...Not much else I don't think. |

I look forward to ANY help. You may be it, Greg; JP only has the morning, and I probably won't be up & around quick enough to put him to work. I'm pretty slow on Saturdays, unless there's a ride. |
