What parts are required to run Dual Disks on a '98 S1? Are the calipers the same from left to right? Is it simply adding a brake line, longer bolt for the master cyl., another disk and caliper or are the parts specific to left hand and right hand? |

No,no easy way. Buell offered a dual disc set-up long ago,but pulled it soon after,I have one. They pop up on eBay now and then. Aftermarket offered several kits--Brembo for one--ask Al at American Sport Bike--I have an ISR set-up on my S-2. Not an easy fix. |

Performance Machine made a kit also that I'm running on my S1, again hard to find used and they don't make them any longer I think. Hodakgauy |

You guys that are running them, do you see a difference? I have an 02 X1 with wave rotors and am happy. Duals look trick though. |

I am mainly after the look also, looks like something is missing on it. Also, I am used to Ducatis and the years they cheapend them up they left off 1 rotor so it is just a mental thing for me I guess, I have never really needed more brakes. |

The brakes work extremely well, I have 16 pistons total, the 4 in the rear are almost scary strong. It's hard to find the kit but you could just buy my S1 and have instant duel brakes, I just listed it in the classifieds Hodakaguy |
