Sorry Torq for not getting back to you. I was at the hospital this AM for a swollen foot. First, I sprained my left foot installing a TV antenna. Well, the antenna and the TV are both fine, as well as my left foot. But then my right foot swelled up, and I couldn't figure it out. They did x-rays, and no break. Thought maybe it was gout, but then they did some blood work, and my Doc thinks maybe I was bitten by something. So, antibiotics, painkillers, when I got home, zzz'd out. Plus, they couldn't read my handwriting on a commercial radiotelephone licensing app I submitted, so I was on the phone with them to straighten it out. My licenses for Commercial Operator issued today as well. I had to take two days off, according to the doc. She wanted me out till Monday, but I said no way. Have to be there this coming Sunday. More blood work next week, and maybe some other meds though. And right now, no riding. Walking with a cane. But I hope to be better soon. Ok guys, take care, ride safe tonight. Wish I was there. Did 270 miles around the lake today. Bug city out there. Everything, bike, clothing, even helmet, needs lotsa water, soap ,and tlc. Kinda sore in places I didn't know existed. But all in all a good ride. | ||||

Heya. I may be able to make it out tomorrow. But it might be on the Harley. My foot is still bugging me. Doc gave me a clean bill of health. Say that everything, cholesterol, blood sugar, etc, are all good. But I still don't know why my feet are acting up. Today, the right foot is good, and the left foot is sore again. I'm still a bit perplexed as to why. The docs don't know, so they can't treat it. I'm at a loss, since everything looks good health wise. Only thing I can think of offhand is the devil, striking at my heel. May have to bruise his head, if'n I get him in the act. Who's da man? Stretch Man, dat's who... LOL | ||||

OK, that's really funny! Seriously, there are plenty of people ready to dish out big buck$ to hear that from their doc, including a couple in my family that are going through similar problems. Welcome, Chad. Been very, very busy lately. Hope to make it north again real soon. Stretch, buy any new boots lately? The reason i ask is one time I had new boots in the Navy, turns out they weren't made right, almost had me crippled before they changed those out, and wonders, back to normal in a couple of days. XB broke tuesday--had to clutchless shift home about 2 miles. primary cover has a machined in restrictor and locater tabs for the ball ramp assembly and they broke off negating replacement of the entire cover. research in KV revealed a possible long term repair. will keep you guys updated | ||||

repair completed--seems to clutch and shift smoother than I remember, but who knows how long it has been coming apart! Who's up for Thursday night? | ||||

missed thursday because of the rain. Been detailing the Hog, and haven't been riding that much the past week. Had the bike out briefly earlier this week. Yeah, the metal on that cover is kind of brittle. Did they do the replacement or did they do a repair? Anyone else still alive out there? | ||||

rained badly thursday--you guys didn't miss much. I did the repair--cost $10 compared to $225 for a new cover and holdin up good so far. thanx for the info about new covers scarewolf and beachbuell, but so far repair seems great | ||||

Heard about the craziness that went down at Fudds the other night. Glad I didn't make it out Thursday, I would've been down there in the middle of it. Safe to say that place is gonna be hot like fire for a few weeks if not longer. | ||||

I was there, after riding through a shit- storm of unmarked mercury marauders and plain clothes troopers.... The troopers are basically working in tandem, one car spots you and radios ahead to another car that pulls you over.... Basically what happened on thursday night was that once you came down the offramp of 826 and stopped at the 104 st intersection, the troopers would rush your bike and pull the keys from the ignition.... I, fortunately, was riding mildly that day, so there were no tickets for me... | ||||
