It's always a good time to clean the nooks and crannies when the wheels are off. Does the Firebolt have enough flat area underneath to use one of those lifts? Between my S3 and Hondas, there is too much underneath the bike to use an atv lift. I finally broke down and bought a Handy Industries table to get mine in the air. I got tired of always being down on my knees to work on the bikes. |

I used one of those to help drop a zx9r motor out of my old bike and it worked great for that. I buddie of mine has 4 or 5 of those in his shop and he swears by them hes uses them on all kinds of bikes. |

The arms on the lift fit right under the lift points. Strapped first and then tighten as the lift went up. The lift supports most of the weight and the straps keep it secure. Putting the new Diablos and wheels back on now and will be ready to go for afternoon ride. (Message edited by cringblast on July 14, 2007) |
