Scott, Put a new rear tire on (same brand). I bet your wobbles go away. Will do that this weekend for sure. I'll post with the results. } |

Fullpower, 1) what do you mean by " a lot of weights" Didn't say "lot of weights" there are just two small ones located in the same spot. I'll have to look and see what the total weight is. Not much though. Although 1oz is close to 6 lbs at 60Mph from what I can tell. 2) What motorcycle part are you referring to when using the term " DAMPENER" This could start something http://www.webster.com Main Entry: damp·en Pronunciation: 'dam-p&n Function: verb Inflected Form(s): damp·ened; damp·en·ing /'damp-ni[ng], 'dam-p&-/ transitive verb 1 : to check or diminish the activity or vigor of : DEADEN <the> 2 : to make damp <the> 3 : DAMP 1c intransitive verb 1 : to become damp 2 : to become deadened or depressed - damp·en·er /-n&r/ noun The shop manual calls it a Damper. Just a little humor here}. You may want to closely inspect the lash or play in the steering head bearings, and also as someone said in an earlier post check the wheel for "runout". good luck, and please do post back with your findings. Problem is, I want to see why the problem started before I start adjusting for something that may be wrong. Remember it was not doing this prior to the tire installation. I think I should install a new tire on the rear (kinda needs one anyway) and see what that does. Then go for some of good advice given in this thread related to adjustment. Dankie! "The word you've entered "Dankie" isn't in the dictionary. Click on a spelling suggestion below or try again using the search bar above." Right from http://www.webster.com Just having fun here. |

S1eric, Good idea here. I think I'll take it back and ask them to try another tire on the front. If the problem is still there then I'll go for the new rear tire. Thanks. |

I would check the distance between both sides of the tyre to fork. If these are different for reasons other than spacer differences I would try to centralise the wheel by loosening the axle and adjusting. If this does not fix the issue then you should have the wheel dynamically balanced. |
