As long as it's not in that weird, metallic yellow-green that was so popular amongst automobiles (and some BMW models) a decade ago. I still shudder to think of that... |

Two photoshop requests: Request #1: draw a line on the scoops following the bottom edge of the frame, then paint the scoop above that line the same color as the frame, and the scoop below that line the same color as the airbox/bodywork. I don't care what colors are used as long as they contrast each other. Request #2: Following the curve line in the frame and airbox, color the frame and scoop and airbox forward of the curve one color and the stuff rearward of the curve a different color. I'm just curious. Maybe I'll just print out the white bike pics and do some desktop coloring. Which I guess bring me to a third request, request #3: can someone generate me a blank slate all white bike with the bodywork and frame and scoops all in white? Would make my coloring exercise much easier. That Carbon Paper Blue is very nice. |

I've noticed that the prototype originally had a chin spoiler/lower fairing. Based on the photo, I think it looks pretty nice, and I wonder why it did not make the "cut". No matter, I will be getting one regardless - can hardly wait.

Could the lower fairing on the prototype be for an oil pan required for the track? Just a guess, but I do like it better that way. Also, the gray looks the best so far. |

Yes, that was a oil catch pan required for the endurance race testing we were doing. It will not be on production bikes. |

I love that "Battleship Grey" color, and the White! I guess I prefer the more Subtle colors. Funny how I ended up with a Bright Friggin Yellow M2! |

Hey, Jeremy, that P-40 treatment looks so freakin cool!! I'd mused about that paint job a while back on another thread,(and, yeah, "Warhawk" is a good name, too!) and much thanx to your skill on that. As far as stock colors go, I'd have to say that British Racing Green has always been one of my faves, and would look great on the new bike as well! |
