Alright we got the same three that made the last run committed, let's get a commitment from the other riders interested so we have an idea who is going and whether or not we'll be waiting for the other riders before we leave. the scheduled meet time starts at 7:30 am at the Mcd's on Mercury Blvd near the colesium and then 8:30 am at the McD's Busch Gardens on Sunday July 8th. for those who missed it was a fun ride and good people and I am looking forward to dong it again S1wmike |

Gonna' be a HOT one ya'll. Be a good idea to pack extra water, and stop often to drink it. I'm not feelin' too great, feels like a touch of bronchitis, but right now I'm still going.(flu in the summer,WTF) I'll post up later tomorrow if it gets worse. For anyone that shows late, and misses the group, some quick easy directions from McD's Busch Gardens... Take rt199 west a few miles(199 is very near McD's) Turn left on rt5. you will see signs. Go to the end and turn left again on rt5.(not a typo) Take it all the way to Poes. Poes is on rt5, on the right, just as you start into the city. Can't miss it. |

Thanks for the ride today guys. I really enjoyed it, especially the ride back. Too bad there was so much traffic going to Sandbridge or we would have had a blast. Van |

Thanks guys.... That was good. I hope one day I get good enough to get into the corners like you guys!!! Ahhh.... Experience, there just is no substitute! So.... the burning question... what do you think of the new 1125R? I know there are a lot of gadgets I'd like to have on mine. |

Another good ride, indeed! I saw the guy on the green Speed-3 again on the ferry. His group split up when we did, but apparently it may not have been intentional??(oops) Sorry I bailed, but not feeling great to start, I didn't want to push it in the heat. Maybe next time we can roll- out on a Sat. so Kevin might have a better chance at escape.(or Sat and Sun??) |

Either Sat or Sun is fine with me. I am not sure about the huge air scoops on the 1125. I just do not think they look proportional. I would love to test ride one though. Probably will be another year until there is one available for that purpose. |

I'll be out of town from Fri to Fri. The good news is I'm on leave for a week after so I'll have two good weekends to go. I really like the 1125. I'm not sure if I'll ever own one but I'm glad Erik is finally giving the liter makers an ulcer. |

I'll tell you what bro's. I get home next Fri late. Household 6 (the old lady) says Sun after church is what she wants lol. I could be on the road nlt noon. Is that too late for ya'll? I could sneak out a little early if that is no good. What's the good word? I'm a little nervous about the ability to trade in my XB12S on a 1125. I really want one but I'm not going to do it if I take a good kick to the groin on trade-in. |

Kevin - just my two cents... I would not trade in my XB just yet. I would wait until the people who have been riding the 1125 for a while give their feedback. I do not suspect they will have any problems with the engine... it's always the other piddly stuff. Hell, my 9R is no longer in production. I may just clean it up and put it in the living room.

...good advice I think. I love my lightning, she's been a great time lol. I'll probly wait it out and see what gives with the 1125. Man I really like the new lines though. Dangit...what a pickle!

How about this... Sat. 7/21 Meet somewhere around/between I64 and Yorktown, and go terrorize Gloucester, Mathews, and beyond. I haven't checked out all the back roads up there, but I want to, and I know the main roads. I'll do some map-checking to find some potential "tight spots". There is a McD's at Ft Eustis Blvd and Rt 17. Could be a good place to meet up?? Say 9-ish? If the plan needs to change, that's all good. |

Melvin, get them to sign in here, unless they're Squids. Seriously, no wheelies on this ride, unless they can wheelie through swamp. Melvin again... Anytime you want to work on some parking lot exercise, I got that for ya! It will boost your confidence 100%. Let me know. |

As for the RIDE.... I've been over the maps, and it looks to be a funky ride through Gloucester, some roads heading through West Point, and from there it could get ugly, or straight, or mixed. Ya'll can decide at that point. I have made no plans for gas or food, but there are places not far from anywhere we will be. |

I'm new to this crowd, but would like to meet some fellow Buell owners. So, is the ride a go for tomorrow? (July 21, 0900, Ft. Eustis Blvd & 17, McD's). Is this exclusive to Buells? I have friend that might want to join (he sold me the Buell, so he's cool!) |

95s2rider I would check here (badweb) again in the morning if the weather looks nasty, but as of right now it's a go. I don't think Buells are mandatory but safe riding is! No stunters, wheelies etc. Any other Buellers feel free to correct if necessary Mike |

I agree 100% with safe riding. The guys I normally ride with are responsible. When anyone want to push the envelope, they break out on their own so everyone can maintain their individual levels of comfort and skill. We are all professional adults with a firm grip on our mortality! Brian |
