"Sources online have been saying that the new 1125r will be featured as one of Batman's new cycles in the upcoming film the Dark Knight. It seems the reasoning behind the single midnight black color for the bike was to go along with the theme of the movie." Anyone else heard anything about this? |

There have already been photos of the new Batcycle posted on the net, and it is definitely NOT an 1125R: Bet that thing is a handful in the twisties, eh? |

I've seen that "Batcycle" posted somewhere before. That thing is crazy. But It'd still be cool if they had a shot of Bruce Wayne riding a 1125R in the movie... I wonder if they're still filming? I mean if Batman is gonna be riding a "bike" in the new movie it would make sense to show Bruce Wayne riding one too. |

Batcycle is a good name with the cartoon intake swoops and the cartoon exhaust pipes. |

If you all recall, in one of the Batman movies there was a scene where the new Robin wandered into Bruce Wayne's garage and was going down the line admiring his motorcycles. I believe he might have even took one as his own. |

Those aren't just hand guards they're forearm guards. You steer it with you shoulders and lay across the tank (which also can move). Those are 508mm tires which rotate around the engines and it also has a grappling hook (maybe thats how you make those high speed 90deg turns). The only person to ride it is an insane frenchman named Jean-Pierre Goy, a stunt man for the movie. |
