I'm selling my 2003 XB9S, you can see the details in the Classifieds section if your interested...my question is how do you handle test rides? I'm a little nervous about letting someone I don't know ride my bike...what do you guys suggest as a practice? |

YOU test ride it for them. Show them a cold start up, warm the engine, ride it up and down the street(calmly), then make your last pass rip a little. If they give you a cash deposit and you write up a receipt, hold the keys to their vehicle while they try it. |

just ask for the for the deposit of your cash list price for the demo. That should keep the inner squid away... Kind of like they did with the helicopter from Clancy's Clear & Present Danger movie ;D |

Just another little word of wisdom, ask to see their motorcycle endorsement. |

Thanks for the advice. The Clear and Present Danger reference is great! Cash for a test ride sounds like the way to go. |
