Oh yeah! It was fun poking and taunting 'em on the CityX; this'll be a sledge hammer! Oooh, I can't wait! It's squid and duck for dinner three times a day! All those skills honed on the 9, with 60 more HP!!!! |

BadS1 - When you put your money down, was there any mention of how much MORE it would require to complete the purchase??? I can't commit till I know the $$$.... |

If they even except trades. Dealers are going to be swamped with trades. You might get a fourth of what you paid for your bike. My comrade who works sales told me not to hold my breath on a trade. Yes, he works at a Buell dealership. |

"I can't wait! It's squid and duck for dinner three times a day!" I like your sentiments, I would like to see you shove it up those sactimonius Baastards, but me, I will hang on to my 9R , it does everything I want it to do. |

Can you imagine what this will mean if on the first try(the air cooled bikes don't count IMHO) Eric thrashes the Italians on the track? This is gonna be good! Woohoo! BTW, Ducs are still awesome and I've seen many a squid on here. They don't have to ride Japanese(if that's what your implying). I've also seen them ride Ducs so maybe you could get a 2 for 1. |

It would be nice for us previous and current Buell owners to get first crack at these (you know the guys that get passed and repassed on the straits). It would be sweet revenge. Now waiting for that E-mail from Buell that we have your bike on the assembly line, which dealer do you want it delivered to. |

I'll have to make a "T" conversion on it and probably sleep in the garage next to it for a few weeks or months when the wife sees it... Might have to wait at least until the summer heat breaks around here, maybe I can fit a room AC in that garage door! |

If I could bypass a dealership and order it straight from Buell over the Internet (kind of like Dell), my credit card would already be smoking. |

I doubt I will. I don't like the looks of it judging from the video. I wish they'd stick this engine in the Lightning and then I'd think about it. But I think my next bike is going to be a used Jap bike to go along with my Buell. I want a beater bike. |

i was thinking before it came out. please dont let it be like 12 grand. then when it came out and saw how amazing it was going to be i realized that its only another 1500 over what the xbs are and i was going to go for one of those if i didnt like this. so imediately i ran down to mcguire hd buell and put down a deposit. he said i was the first one to put a deposit on one and i will get the first bike that arrives hehe. cant wait. |

I've hesitantly put a deposit down for the first bike at Stocks in Manitowac. I'm not sure I want to replace the S3T with a bike that I can't ride more than a few hundred miles per day. But I don't think I'd even get the chance to try one this year without getting on the list. I guess it's just a non-interest bearing savings account until November |

I am going to wait wait as well. I am not particularily fond of the styling, plus it is WAY more motorcycle than I need. Besides, the CityX still puts stupid shit eating smiles on my face every day. Maybe my next bike will be a Uly, or a TT, or maybe I will wait for this engine to come out in some more models, but I still love my torquey old air-cooled lump! --Sean (Message edited by thespive on July 09, 2007) |

Anyone who was at Homecoming know what my thoughts are. If it werent' for the fact that I had to leave and go to San Diego, I would be at the dealership right now putting down my money. I'm thinking my license plate should say "RICECOKR" or "RICEBRNR". |

Just got off the phone with one of the owners from my dealer (IL Harley). Got dibs on the first one through the door. Man, I love it when a plan comes together. |

I'm thinking my license plate should say "RICECOKR" or "RICEBRNR". Haha. You may want to avoid "RICECOKR" unless you want to get hit on by...well you should get the picture. |
