Tried to locate my original post but couldn't find it... can't concentrate since seeing the video link for the 1125RRRRRRR!! As you may recall, my bike had stop running while I was riding home from work one day on the freeway, when I tried to restart it I heard a clanking noise, then oil smelling white smoke. Well, the guy I had working on it finally had a chance to tear the back head off, after finding out the front cylinder was ok, and said he had never seen anything like it. The piston seems to have "blown up". So piston, arm and cylinder where ruined. He couldn't tell if the crank was damaged or not. Bottom line, need to rebuild the engine and spend major money, for me at this time anyway, to get my daily rider going again. Really, really sucks. |

No, I had just been waiting for the mechanic to have a chance to look at it. I did sell my Drummer because I was putting a Micron System on it. Now I have a new exhaust but not a running bike...yet. |

Sorry to hear it. I hope you can figure out what caused the failure. |
