I friend of mine went into the local shop and they only offered him 5K for his '05 12R, I would like to get the new bike but I'm not going to take a hosing on my identical 12R. You would think Buell would offer a reasonable trade in for Buell to Buell purchase. |

Sure, if you pay full MSRP on the new one. Well, maybe not. Good luck to all of us XB'ers who feel the need of a new Buell but must lose our XB first. |

Dongalonga Posted on Saturday, July 07, 2007 I lucked out this time. Lets hope so. Early adopters can be in for ugly surprises too. |

Visit KBB.com for a ballpark figure. And you guys also have to remember that lots of new models have first-year gremlins... |

That's what I was thinking. I believe I'll stick with my 05 until the 09's come out. I want one of these new bikes bad, but am a little hesitant to purchase a first year offering of anything. |

I want to enjoy my bike for at least 5 years before I send her out to the pasture. She's only two years old with less than 20K miles. I think I'll wait until 2010; A Buell Odessey My 05 will be worth squat by then but the memories will be priceless and the new Buell will be much deserved. |
