No problems with my 96 S1! Although I have had a few thing come off over the years. For instance, this dropped off today!

tubers are easy to maintain, fun, crash well, and are relatively cheap... whats not to like?

Well I know a guy with a m2 and he told me he didn't trust it for long trips and I read many things about reliability issues on the pre xb model so I just wanted to know from owners.

One of my '95 S2's has over 150,000 trouble free miles, my S2 has almost 50,000 and it's had no problems.

Mine has had very few problems that weren't at least partially my doing.

I just completed a border to border ride (Mexico to Canada) on my 1995 S2. 4000 miles by the time I got home. I trust my Buells more than my BMW's.

Have a 97 s1 and haven't had a problem with it. Well other than getting the carb tuned for the new exhaust. New at working with carbs and this has definitely been a learning experience. Other than that my s1 has taking a beating and still come out on top. My brother in-law rear-ended a s-10 pickup with my bike and the only things I had to replace was a couple of motor mounts and headlight. I wouldn't give up my tuby for anything.
