No problems with my 96 S1! Although I have had a few thing come off over the years. For instance, this dropped off today!

Well I know a guy with a m2 and he told me he didn't trust it for long trips and I read many things about reliability issues on the pre xb model so I just wanted to know from owners. |

One of my '95 S2's has over 150,000 trouble free miles, my S2 has almost 50,000 and it's had no problems. |

I just completed a border to border ride (Mexico to Canada) on my 1995 S2. 4000 miles by the time I got home. I trust my Buells more than my BMW's. M |

Have a 97 s1 and haven't had a problem with it. Well other than getting the carb tuned for the new exhaust. New at working with carbs and this has definitely been a learning experience. Other than that my s1 has taking a beating and still come out on top. My brother in-law rear-ended a s-10 pickup with my bike and the only things I had to replace was a couple of motor mounts and headlight. I wouldn't give up my tuby for anything. |
