Kristi - I'm leaving for my Mom's on Monday. Tuesday I'll begin the "real" trip to Wisconsin. BTW, I sent you Buelltoberfest $ a couple days ago, but forgot to include TJ in the total. I'll send you some more soon. |

Jim - I don't have TJ (or the other girls) in the headcount for Buelltoberfest. I thought the plan was for them to go to MBV. |

I arrived in East Troy, WI about 15 minutes ago. Had a couple of cops tail me in a couple of different states, but apparently they didn't feel it was worth pulling me over... Enjoy the ride Jim! 1313 |

Just checking my accumulated E-mail from when I was on the road and I see something from "BUE - Homecoming" <buell_homecoming@buell.com>... "Hello fellow Buell owners. We’re just a few days out until the 2007 Buell Homecoming. We’re looking forward to seeing you at the various events and hope you’re ready for a good time! We also want to make mention of a special announcement Sunday afternoon. So if you’re making plans to leave early – you may want to hold out. Safe travels and happy holiday. See you soon, Your friends at Buell" Wonder what it could be... 1313 |

I still hope to get to my parents house early enough to allow me to post a write up about my recent trip to Germany Scratch that! This is vacation! Plus my Mom's computer is SSSSLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWW - guess I know what I can get her for Christmas... It would be cool to have it posted before Homecoming, but with the equipment I have to use I would end up pulling out all my hair. The first weekend I am back (July 14 and 15 - right after a Friday the 13th?!?! Have mercy!!!) will be a nice relaxing weekend at home that I will post all the details about my trip to Germany. It'll be worth the wait!!! 1313 |

Glenn, glad to hear it. Bike looks real good too. I'm gonna ride up to the parkway at the crack of dawn. I doubt I'll see much traffic for the first few hours. Enjoy your 4th. |

I saw a cherry bomb 12R on the BRP yesterday. It was parked at the coffee house just before the exit to 21. We road from Asheville to 21 yesterday and it was beautiful -- my wife was getting cold so I got off the ridge at 21. It was a great day and it was the first time she'd been riding since January. I'd of enjoyed it even more if I weren't so jealous of Jim going to Homecoming JK,,,,send pics! G2 |

PSSST... They're building '08's on the line during the factory tours!!! A blue Ulysses (kind of like the darker blue), a white with blue XB12R (blue exactly like the red on the available again black and red 12R) LOOKS HOT! Powertrain refinements on the carryover models. Full details will be released on the internet http://www.buell.com on Sunday. And don't forget that special announcement Sunday at the race track... 1313 |

1313 - Thanks for the update - Can't wait for the special announcement. BRP! Will forever have a double meaning. Great to see you guys out G2. I hope to join you soon. I finally got parts today. I have the front of the bike left to put together and then I will be ready for the test ride. I am going to PR next week so I may have to wait until I get back for the test ride. Funny Story... My three year old son comes into the room earlier and wants to watch "toons". I said okay and turn on the TV. I start channel surfing to see if we can find something he likes. After a couple of passes of the the Cartoon channels, he looks at me and tells me something that I can not understand at first. After a few tries and a few giggles on my part, I understood what he was saying. What he was trying to say was, "Mickey Mouse Club House" What he was actually saying was, "Mickey Mouse Crack House"

Mike, you and your family are pulling out tomorrow, right? Just want to say have a great vacation and leave everything behind. Also, on my way back from the BRP last wednesday, I finally got a hand signal from another rider to slow it down. He was riding a BMW. 1/4 mile down the road was a Sheriff, State Patrol and a unmarked car. I got it slowed down to a putt-putt in time. I think they were finishing up a wreck clean-up, but it was a very nice gesture. I also noticed over half of the harley rider crowd wearing tank shirts won't wave to a sport bike rider with gear on. Whatever and later... |

Twig, Trish and Rebecca are already in the lap of luxury cruising the Caribbean. My son and I pull out pre-dawn Tuesday, headed West into the wilderness .... with bikes and boots ... for a month. How 'bout that new 1125R!!!! I sure would like to take one to Barber in mid-August!!!! (Message edited by rubberdown on July 08, 2007) |

I was in pain! 60 miles short of an Iron Butt, but by the time I got home last night I didn't care. West (by God) Virginia knows how to build an interstate system. I thought I was gonna drag pegs coming down 77. |

Hey Nance...Buy some riding/bicycle shorts with padding in the ass. They really help my boney butt on long rides. Mike, I just saw the video. WOW! |

I-77 is fun. I know that stretch like the back of my hand. Its also fun when you pull off the Freeway and hit US-52 next to it. Man Jim 940 miles in one 24 hour period is impressive. I got parts Friday, I have been working on the Uly. I broke the new clutch cable yesterday though so I have to get more parts. I hope one of the Buell dealers in the area have the cable in stock. I was really hoping to test ride the bike today, but I doubt that now. |

I broke the new clutch cable yesterday I'm sorry, I can imagine how pissed off you were after that. Did you do it by not rotating the cable when you screwed it into the transmission? Twig - Thanks for the tip. I'll get a pair. |
