Jwhite,I know about the twisties and I would still take the Busa more than the Buell, and I know a lot of other people that would too.Like I said,I know alot of people that would love to bet with you.Suzuki has sold over 100,000 Busas, apparently they are being sold in states with curvy roads too. Fla has some twisty roads, you just have to know where to find them. (Message edited by thepup on June 30, 2007) |

"I would still take the Busa more than the Buell" Then please do. Really. I've ridden both. If I needed to travel the slab at super high speed all day, then I might take the Busa. Otherwise, I'll take the Buell every time. |

Suzuki has sold over 100,000 Busas, apparently they are being sold in states with curvy roads to Has anyone noticed that some motorcycle apparel is being marketed in "Busa size" when referring to the fit at the bottom of the jacket? At first I was confused, until I figured out that what they were really saying is Busa riders tend to be bigger or fatter. |

Heres a post from an Australian Busa Club. "Sub Frame Crack What’s the best way to fix the sub frame on my 99 bus? I have kept an eye on it because this model has had problems with the alloy frame breaking. After my last trip it notice a small crack about 4cm behind the top left mounting bolt under the riders seat. Do I just get it welded or is there any additional bracing that can be added to help stop this happening again? Gaz " Another Suzuki with frame problems. Oh wait,he must be stuntin it. NOT. Pup, 99000 of those have already got frames cracking at the welds. |

Pup, ...only fat, black guys ride 'busa's... Nope...but Suzuki does aim their marketing to the larger riders. Some jackets from other manufacturers even have 'Busa vents(expansion panels). It's a big bike, big guys like'em. I live just outside Atlanta and can tell you that while the big, black guys aren't the only ones riding them, they DO make up the majority(99.5%), at least in this neck of the woods. However, the Gixxer1000 seems to be the new bike of choice for inner city freeway blasting and blingification around here. (Message edited by RidrX on June 30, 2007) |

heres a Buell smokin a Suzuki in the Quarter Mile That's like saying a Toyota Celica is faster than a Ford Mustang and showing a clip of two NHRA funny cars racing with these bodies. |

"I live just outside Atlanta and can tell you that while the big, black guys aren't the only ones riding them, they DO make up the majority(99.5%), at least in this neck of the woods." Some people will probably find fault with this statement... much like they will with my observation that a majority of Buells seem to be ridden by fat white men. |

I'm trying to sell my XB12S so as I can get a new 'Busa. 1 million Rappers and pre-pubescent teens can't be wrong. This brings me to a story..... Several years ago I wheeled up to the local watering hole on my 02 X-1W. Some, "Skippy," walks up to me and out of the blue tells me that a, "CBR900RRRRRRR blah blah could kick that Buell's a$#. " I asked him what he rode... His response was he didn't own a bike...but, his cousins bike was better than my Buell. My response; "If I wanted a CBR900RRQY whatever, I would have bought two. One to sh%t on and one to cover it up with. "A person who speaks from experience has a valid opinion. A person who doesn't speak from experience is just talking outta their a## no matter how you cut it. I ride what I ride because that's what I like. |

When i bought my first buell the mechanic at our shop said why did you buy one of those, there slow and break down all the time. He said he would smoke me on his 1985 honda 750 something. I asked him which buell he had ridden and of course he had never been on one but his cousins sisters uncle had one and it had broke down. A complete lack of any first hand experience is B.S. sometimes i think there should be a age minimum on this site, too many kids living at home. |
