Ride it to the dealer and then put the race ecm on it in the parking lot. |

How far to the dealer? I put mine on and test rode it then rode it to the dealer. Probably 50 or 60 miles total with no ill effects, but mine is not an XB. If you can I would do what Aeholton said and just plug it in in the parking lot and let them reset the TPS there. Just my 2 cents. |

Like before I ride a tuber BUT I would assume it would be the same, depending on what you mean by stock. Is it BONE stock as in no mods whatsoever or no major mods like just a air filter, exhaust and minor DIY stuff? If it is bone stock you really don't need the race ecm but if you are bringing more air in and more air out then I would highly suggest the race ecm. I have been running a K&N, Vance & Hines and a Buell Race ECM for approx. six years with no problems. Hope this helps. |

I bought my bike with a K&N filter and after market exhaust already on it. How do I tell if the ECM was upgraded too? |

^ Not all of them had that stamped on them, you need to check the part number. Do some searching on here and it will help you out. Don't give up hope yet |

I'm pretty sure its stock. There was a stock ecm on Ebay with a similiar # just a few digits shorter, and doesn't come close to the race ecm # on the buell website. The # is N0306 02AXXX16 (the X's is part of the # I can't read). Another # on it is BX9US20CB060, but research on this web site says its a warehouse #. |
