Traded the ol' trusty XB9SX for new Hypermotard 1100S, i had 25000km's on the clock on the XB, nice ride it was! Time for something new now, the Duc is fierce machine.. |

Throw some pictures of the Motard up! Man, I love those things. One day, maybe I will have one as well. |

Looks great. There's gotta be a way to tidy up that license bracket though. Not that pretty much all factory license brackets suck anyways. |

Awesome! I'm sure this thing will be insanely fun. There are some things I would change on it if I could, but I love the concept. |

Powerwheelies are easy to do and are smoothly under control, don't need clutch at all on lower speeds. Extremely easy to ride fast on the twisties and around the town. Not disappointed on switch, i do miss the belt on XB9SX, hate maintaining the chains... |

i would very much love to have a duc. The price is fine for just the bike, but start looking for parts..... Then start looking for maintenance.... I couldnt do it. Maybe after the buell, but i still have many more miles to go. |

Multistrada?! That's like comparing the Firebolt to the Uly! Different machines for different purposes! The Motard is cool as heck, but not for me. |

In the last five years the only bikes that has made me gasp with deep desire & longing have been the various Buell XB models. Until now.. The Hypermotard invokes the same primal urges as the Buell. And then some! She's a beauty. |

What a nice bike. Would you have some detail on the difference between your old XB and this new beast? |

Riding position is very upright compared to Lightning, the power delivery and engine revs are rather instant(very... punchy engine), extremely wheelie prone with smacking good brakes, you give gas and it just lunges forward. For me personally the upright riding position gave me alot faster cornering speeds than XB, even on the first 200km's. When i started getting used to the new geometry, i noticed turning speeds are alot faster the forged marchezinis do help alot in here it seems, transitions from left-right-left are much quicker than XB, this can be credited to wider bars too. Also the bike is very narrow on the seating side, feels like 600cc KTM supermoto when sitting on it, like with Lightnings you can't see anything of the bike itself except for the speedo. I highly recommend demoing the bike, it is rather interesting ride |

I would be in SO MUCH TROUBLE riding that. Congrats on the beautiful new ride. Those bikes are dialed. I rode my first pure Supermoto bike just the other day (Husky 610sm) and I had to get off right away. If not I'd be in jail LOL |

Very nice bike; congratulations. Of course you realize that in accordance with Murphy's Law (or one of its corollaries), this means Buell will introduce an even MORE awesome bike on July 8 that will make you wish you'd waited to buy a new motorcycle...

Well then you can thank for me to make such thing happen.. or something I really do hope Erik manages to conjure something new this year instead of 'Bold new colors on plastics' stuff! |

I've got a deposit down for one of those italian bad boys. I'm keeping my XB9SX though for sport touring duty and I just can't part with it because I like it so much. |

Multistrada?! That's like comparing the Firebolt to the Uly! Different machines for different purposes! The Hypermotord and Multistrada share the same engine and frame (not subframe, though), right down to the steering geometry, wheelbase, seat height and suspension travel. It's a gussied up Multistrada underneath... gussied up nice, especially in S trim, but still fundamentally, a cosmetic makeover of the Multistrada with detail differences (even the Multistrada has an S version). Nice bike, none-the-less... still beats the hell out of the Multistrada. |

fundamentally, a cosmetic makeover of the Multistrada with detail differences Who says you can't fix ugly? What a difference in aesthetics! I rate the Multistrada as one of the least attractive bikes I've ever seen. The Hypermotard is way on the other end of the spectrum. |
