Tkxb9sx, Welcome to our little slice of heaven/madness! When I get back on two I will ride with ya. Sanchez, great news man! You need to get back on that bike, your new tires will be dry rotted by the time you get to break them in! Oh yeah, July 8th Mountainrider will be at little tally with a young buddy, Tony. It is Tony's first track day and I may ride out to watch if you want to come. |

Anyone know a good way to jack the bike up without the exhaust mounted? I got new tires in, and Odie has my pipe doing some repairs. I wanted to get the tires mounted while I was waiting on the pipe to come back. I don't have any bike/pit stands, but I do have 2 jack stands, some tie-down straps, two hooks in my ceiling, and some redneck ingenuity. By the way, has anyone heard from Odie lately?? I'm starting to get worried about him. (Message edited by ratyson on June 26, 2007) |

Odie's doing good. He's swamped with work. A pet store, pipes, and helicopters make for some very busy days. Leave him a message on his cell, he'll call you when he gets a free minute! Smokescreen |

ETA? At the current rate never...... Unless some badwebbers want to start a "you fixed my bike for nothin' fund". |

> Anyone know a good way to jack the bike up without the exhaust mounted? Use the hooks and straps on the handle bars to hold the bike up straight, and tighten them while you jack up the front of the bike from the bottom of the motor. When it's high enough, put the jack stands under the foot pegs, and lower the front down enough to get the back wheel off the ground. |

Charlie, don't forget about getting me an estimate...that would help towards the get Chuckie back on two wheels fund. That is going to the "my kitchen is getting remodeled fund" You got a text. My comment was really a joke, I just did not have time to post some smileys! I sure dont want a loan from a bud either, that ruins friendships faster than crashing their bikes. Thanks tho. |

What great folks I have met owning a bike. I have a pal, (Mountainrider introduced us) who is doing his first track day at Tally in a couple weeks, he really wants me to go to ride with him but alas I have no bike. Well it sounds like his brother is willing to loan me a 600 to go with him. I really want to go, and I figure, the more bikes I ride the better I will get. So if it comes through anyone wanna come? July the 8th, its a sunday, $100 to pre register and $120 at the door. 2 hours away and if your novice no bike prep. Intermediate will need to safety wire the drain plug and oil filter. |

monkey wrench! new12r -- do those of us who plan to make this trip need to get a membership through the sportbiketracktime folks? the sbtt website also says that novice and interm. are full for the 8th. wonder if that means anything or not. |

Hey you programmers and hackers out there, I have a cheezey little freebie program that keeps popping up with some kind of application error/General Protection Fault. I think it is because some other company bought them out and maybe didn't buy the rights or something because I can't find them on line anymore and the CD website they list no longer exists. Anyone out there think they can "Hack" it into working? It has some pretty cool Pic Page templates I sure would ike to use. |

Dang Charlie, I thought for sure you were a lot closer than that, since you sold the SV. I'm with SS, if ya need any help wrenchin let me know. Tkxb9sx, must have been your buddy (or someone else) the other day, we *kind* of rode together for a bit until he split off to I-75. 1200 miles is a lot of riding! I've only got 53,000 miles on mine. |

Xbullet: Slowest? Nah, that would probably be me... Though I was thrilled to see that even though not pushing it on my first ride in the mountains I still got home and saw that I've got very little chicken strips... All I got to say so far is...This bike really leans well... |

I hope to be in the mountains at least a bit. Tally sounds fun though... Hmm Anyone know of any place local that's reasonably priced on getting things ceramic coated? You could have fried an egg on my frame last night...I think part of my inner thigh is cooked to medium rare at the moment. |

Poser-Palooza @ Hooters H.B. just called and said he and the Mrs are going. I'll not be trying to get any service from the service deficient Hooters Girls, but thought it might be a good chance to meet up with some 3%ers. |

Any of y'all interested in going? To Hooters I mean... I want to see the next picture in the series I'd like to see the entire series as well. I wonder what the end would look like. I could see it where he got off lucky. I'm not sure if the bike would have made it all the way over. The look on his face is classic! |
