Eric..... I looked yesterday and I didn't find one anywhere. I'll keep looking. Jpb...... sorry man I thought that everyone here owned a Firebolt... LOL It is for the bolt only. Greg..... thanks for the kind words!! I am cool..... cool like the other side of the pillow.... I kill me As far as the MRI. Went in last night and should be getting the results in a few days. It's waiting time now. Oh and as Greg mentioned, I might as well let the cat out of the bag. At the end of the year it looks like I'm going to be a dad. Pray for me................... |

JP- how'd I know you'd be the one to name it. You win an all expense paid trip to Venezuela, where you will be promptly jailed for being a capitalist pig spy and enemy of the state. |

The Pope's 10 Commandments for Motorists (yes this is a real release from the Vatican): 1. You shall not kill. 2. The road shall be for you a means of communion between people and not of mortal harm. 3. Courtesy, uprightness and prudence will help you deal with unforeseen events. 4. Be charitable and help your neighbor in need, especially victims of accidents. 5. Cars shall not be for you an expression of power and domination, and an occasion of sin. 6. Charitably convince the young and not so young not to drive when they are not in a fitting condition to do so. 7. Support the families of accident victims. 8. Bring guilty motorists and their victims together, at the appropriate time, so that they can undergo the liberating experience of forgiveness. 9. On the road, protect the more vulnerable party. 10. Feel responsible toward others. So what do we think? They're all pretty vague, but I'm pretty sure I'm guilty of #5, and always will be. At least until internal combustion engines are entirely outlawed and we're all on Segways. |

At least until internal combustion engines are entirely outlawed and we're all on Segways. Funny thing about those Segways......... I was riding home using backroads the other day and saw a guy PUSHING his Segway down the road. Didn't look like it rolled all that well with no juice. |

Greg- The second light was the wrong one, but not a total loss, the third got me home as advertised, ROAD CAPTAIN... light #2 from 146 off 99 dumped me onto an industrial park that was totally deserted on a Saturday afternoon. I hit 75 mph twisties MotoGP style! It was awesome! Only 'bout a mile or two that wrapped around back to the first signal offa 99, but you guys have got to sample this place. New pavement, NO traffic, I thought I was Nicky 69! We could loop this place into laps 'til the cops catch on. JP, Eric, wish you bros coulda been there. Greg, as always took me on a roller-coaster of epic proportions (except for all the cruisers and blue-hairs harshing our ride) and I think I got the Uly airborne at one point. Hairy-a$$ roads, Neuveux!! Kicka$$ riding. See you squids next weekend. Check yer oil. |

Only one "U" in my name...the second one. I didn't count the light at the end of 99.I said go to the end, turn left.take the second light at the fork. Hey...who said....."When you see a fork in the road...take it". Should be an easy one for the baseball fans. Today will be an R&R day....'cept for a bicycle ride..Two wheels, always |

Nope...no slacking here...just sleeping in. I had a bunch of crap to catch up on here so that's why I didn't even ask about rides this week... Xbdave9s...I may be new...but welcome back! I had a great time at the show. Audra and I did catch up with Eric and family and hung out for a bit...no sign of others...no calls either. I had a good ride with Jim in the morning with the exception of a quick trip over the yellow...of course there was a car coming around the other way...I started the corner out perfectly...then hit some small bumps and the bike stood right up and next thing I know...I'm on the wrong side of the line looking straight into a big azz grill...ok,ok,ok...I'm looking for the Perrelis this week!!! |

There are Diablo, Diablo Corsa, Diablo Corsa III, Diablo Corsa T (Buell OEM spec), Diablo Supercorsa (DOT race tires), and Dragon Supercorsa Pro (DOT Race). There are also Diablo Strada which are a sport touring extended milage tire. |

Yeah...I started doing some research last night on Pirelli's site - they have very little real information about the tyres. Which ones do you guys recommend? How did you get to that decision? |

I've got some Diablos on order right now with Motorcycle-Superstore.com. $227.98 shipped. I think the only difference between them all is rubber compound, and the higher end ones run dual compound. I just went with the base Diablo because I can't stomach spending more on two tires for my bike than I do for four on my truck. Sorry we missed you at the show JP. Were you on the bike? We didn't see it in the lot. I may be throwing another little project your way in the not-too-distant future... You shouldn't have said "water-jet" in our presence... |

Yeah I was on the bike but didn't get there until 12:00 - we got parked in lot G. I saw the Diablo Corsa 3 had three compounds or was it 2 compounds in 3 profile areas??? Is ordering on-line the only way to go? No shops around here stock Pirelli's? Don't worry about the projects...I actually have another one brewing with Eric that you may all want to pith in on...making some sliders rather than buy them from American Sport Bike...$55 is just too steep for my blood when it's something I can do myself...anybody else interested in them? |

I'm sure you could find them locally; I just prefer shopping online. And I'd be all over some sliders! Let me know if you need any CAD work done. |

JP,get the "Corsa III" tires. If you buy them online you'll be hard pressed to find a dealer to mount tires YOU bring in.No HD dealer will mount them.BUTBUT,we've got good 'ole Eric here with his trusty "NO-MAR BAR".He's mounted a few sets successfully now on XB wheels.Ask him nicely..pretty please and you're all set. Don't worry one bit about tire balance. |

I have the Diablo Corsa III as well and they are GREAT. The best price that I could find for them was at www.buymoto.com Both Eric and myself can change the tire for you. I just got the Harbor Freight tire changer with motorcycle wheel attachment. |
