Hey! Looks like a fun board and I am completely addicted to this Ulysses. Just for the books I am just about 5'8" and have around a 31 inch inseam and just touch the tips of the toes on the ground. I will add that if you are a sub 6 footer like me, do not rule out the Uly it is worth the change in riding technique. |

5'9" with 31" inseam, I have to agree! Although the 2007 seat makes a world of difference for me. |

Welcome to the asphalt jungle! The Buell low seat makes a big difference. I just tested it out by stealing a friends seat for a few days. I'm 6'1" and the stock seat works better for me. You can get the Buell low seat from your dealer or check out Corbin's low seat. If you are on tip toes with the stock seat, you'll be an the balls of your feet with the low seat. Search this site for a string in which "ulywife" compared 3 different seats, complete with side by side pictures. |

I was just going to link that thread, great info (I did find a taker on my seat!!). Its a great bike for us not so tall guys, 5'8.5" but the tip toes has to go. 07 seat is going for $109, not sure what the 06 low is going for. Have fun out there. Horr |

It's black for now. I will change that eventually but I haven't decided to what. I like a military look, must be the old jarhead in me. The 07 came with a pretty low seat. I couldn't see ordering the 06 low seat and gaining only a 1/2 inch. A bit more practice in some dirt and it won't matter. I figure it's all about good technique. Thanks for the welcome everyone. |
