My Buell has decided to let me down I snapped the left bolt on the front head this morning on my way to work. It may be repairable but I'll probably just replace it. I still can't beleive this finally happened!!!! |

Interesting. Was it the S1W? What style of mount was it? Stuff like this needs to be documented or at least archived so we can all figure out what can be done to prevent it from happening again. Do you think the left bolt loosened before it broke? |

Lake, I lost one of those before. I drilled out with a tungston drillbit and then backed out the remaing stud with and easy out. Had the whole thing back together in an afternoon. Make sure you check the ruber mount on top, that is what cause the excessive vibration lading to a busted bolt |
