I informed American about the deal I got in Florida, and they beat it by $100.00 so...... still havn't told the wife that I plan to pick it up.. but I think deep down she knows... and I may spend a day or two on the sofa... lol everyone @ my shop says "It is easier to beg for forgiveness, then to ask for permission." Wise words |

Hardcorps. I still have the belt but i don't know if i want to sell it or what i would sell it for. I guess i could always buy a new one if i wanted to switch back some day. So far i like the whine of the chain or idler pulley when it decelerates. |

WOW..............I got so tired of everyone getting either a new bike or new bike parts I went and bought another MONEY sponge. I picked up a 87 Vette for some summer fun, it reminds me of a Buell a bit because I'm trying to learn to fix everything myself because Corvette dealerships are as bad as HD. Anyhow, just changed the oil and tranny fluid in the Buell and ready to rock......plus school is done in about two weeks. Yippeee. READY TO RIDE |

The sputtering is back. Resetting the TPS didn't fix it. Surprise, surprise... |

did they replace the Head temp sensor? Did the 02 sensor check out and run .5 volts all the time? |

Did they show you the old one? (just to make sure that they did change it ) Take the bike back and tell them to plug into the scan machine and check the running voltage of the 02 sensor, if it isn't running at .5 volts it needs to be changed. Did/does your bike start stuttering right away or does it happen after a amount of time... |

It takes time. Today I rode about 40 miles before it started, and it temporarily goes away if I roll on and off the throttle. |

On july 21 there is a Charity ride some guys at work are putting on it starts at Chesley's bar in lincoln Park, goes out to Irish Hills via backroads to Cement City Town and Country Harley then back to Gibralter to a bar called Joes Primetime for afterparty. Cost is $20.00 per person which includes a spagheti dinner. If anyone wants to go let me know I do plan on attending this. I will scan the flyer tonight and post it here for everyone to see. I talked with the guy mapping the route and it sounds like a nice ride for the day. Registration is at 11:00 am and the ride leaves at 1:00 pm. |

Spidey, So I bled my rear brake and my front break. Front break works better than ever, but I still have no rear break. I think there is something else wrong. When I look at it from the rear the inside break pad is no where near the rotor? Any ideas what to do next? |

Jugs: Town and Country is about 10 miles from my place, so I might be up for that ride. I'll let you know as the date nears. FYI: T&C is not Buell friendly. They have one TT on the floor and say they don't plan to get any more Buells in the near future because "those things don't sell". They don't stock any Buell parts, either. Tom K |

Most of the guys I work with ride harleys, not buells, so that is one reason they are planning on stopping there for mid point. If anyone wants to see the flyor, I can email it to them or bring it to the next meeting. Just let me know. |

Just looking for an update on those who are going to the Sept 10-16th Tail of the Dragon [Deals Gap] ride. I am using 3 of the 10 positions so i would like some kind of a head count. I am looking at $25.00 a day per person. You don't have to stay the whole week just pick the days that works best for you. I just don't want anybody to miss out on this if they can get the time off. We will be staying at the Crown Plaza Resort in down town Gatlinburg,Tn. Go to march 4th archieves for more info and pictures. (Message edited by tiburondriver47 on June 18, 2007) |
