Doh!! I kinda was focusing on the mirrors. LOL I have these two. Since it is clean, I will pull it out tonight and take a couple better side shots. |

Thanks Birmanrh ! I had some time this morning (at 5 am when I got home from work !) to pull the mirrors off my 07 Tuono and put them on the Uly. After riding to work this afternoon, I have to say that the left mirror is an improvement in clarity, while the right mirror is fuzzier than the stock one ! With my stock mirrors, my right mirror was much better than my left, so a toss up on clarity. The Tuono mirrors do look better, and they sit a little lower and there is a little more viewing area with the shape. Not the big improvement I was hoping for on the 'fuzz', but they will stay on. |

Can anyone confirm that these will bolt onto a tuber? A Cyclone to be exact. They look great! |

Can those with and without the heavy bar ends confirm back whether the Tuono mirros solve the fuzzy mirror issue or not? I am still trying to figure out if it takes both modifications to get clear mirrors. Thanks Mark |

I've got the Tuono mirrors on my Uly. They give me a better field of vision; I can see considerably more than I could. However, reflected images aren't any clearer than with the stockers. I plan to add the HVMP bar ends in the near future and will report on if there is any improvement, once I do. |

Dang, if I had a $1 for everyone that has gotten a set from this thread, I would have only paid $36. LOL |

Installation question: Should I use the provided hardware / boot or just drop the mirror into the same hardware that the factory mirrors use? Mark |

You can't mount them unless you use their hardware. The mirrors I installed were a solid metal bar that was held in place with a locking collar arrangement. |

Birdmanrh: I just loosened the nut holding the factory mirrors and pulled out the stem and replaced it with the new mirrors and tightened everything back up. Later I realized that there was a separate bag with a new locking collar in it but couldn't really see the benefits of it over what came with the bike so I thought I'd ask. Mark |

I used the hardware the new mirrors came with, mainly because it has that cool rubber cover thing to hide all the chew marks from my wrench. |

Well, I am not normally one to go along with the crowd, unless of course it will make me look cooler! Thanks to Crusty's contact, I am a proud new owner of some of those Tuono mirrors for my Uly! I was planning of doing an objective comparison without the HVMP's and later one with them, but the bar ends (thanks Ft_bstrd) came in the mail the same day as my mirrors, so what was I to do? They look nice, and with the bar ends they do vibrate a lot less. I can now actually tell the difference between a cop car and a cab! At certain rpm's they vibrate a little, and when they do vibrate my right mirror seems to shake more than the left. The bottom line is that they are better than stock, and well worth the $18.25 each plus shipping investment! Here's a few pictures for everyone's viewing pleasure.

Iugradmark , I apologize, I never took the factory mirrors completely apart and did not realize they were the same, minus the boot. I liked the rubber boot however and after fighting with the factory one just know, I think the slight waterproofing may be a benefit as well. |

Birdmanrh & Hughlysses, PM sent. I would post the info here, but I know the board has firm rules regarding posting of stuff from non-sponsors. I'm not affiliated with the shop I purchased the mirrors from in any way, but don't want to cross the law. |

I wonder if Al Lighton or one of the other sponsors could get their hands on the mirrors and stock them? |

Popped mine on last night, looks so much better and the picture is much clearer. Thanks Crusty for the info. The peeps at Wagner Motor Sports were nice to deal with also. |

I have a tuber (S1), and I'd love to put these on - they look great in addition to any visibility advantage. Are mirror mounts generally standardized? If anyone could confirm whether these will work with a tuber it would be greatly appreciated! |

Not to beat this thread into the ground anymore, but I'll post number 149 saying that these mirrors are pretty darn sweet! Just got em on, on Friday, and they are a million times better than the stockers. Nice clean finish with the rubber boot, vibration is nil, and the rear view range is fabulous. I can actually see more than my elbows. |

Just bought a set of Aprilla Tuono mirrors for around $50 at the Aprilla dealer in St. George Utah. Said he had five or six more in stock and would be happy to sell them via the phone 435 674 5664. (American motorcycle is back ordered by 50 and not taking any more orders so I'm hoping this information helps someone) Eric |

American Sport Bike has these mirrors in stock now. I just ordered a set and they were shipped right away. $30 each, same as my local Aprilia dealer wanted (but no wait with American Sport Bike). |
