Disregard, July 14th & 15th....I found it! I'll try to hook up with you after this weekend for that pipe, if you can wait? Got a birthday(mine), going to that deal digging up the '57 Plymouth, and Father's day. |

Brian, They want you to use a Hard back protector. Not the foam one that comes in your jacket. I bought a UFO Back Protector for $60. The name brand ones (Alpinestars, etc...) cost $100-$200. |

Brian, look into this one. It was very popular for the price on the SV650 forum. If you tell them you are a svrider.com member, I think you can get one for $75 shipped. http://www.highvelocitygear.com/home.html Ahh I found the link to the discounted one: http://www.highvelocitygear.com/productpages/SVRider.html (Message edited by Nasty73z on June 13, 2007) |

Drake, Chase, Thanks for the incite on the back brace. Drake , Chase was having a conversation with Chris Chiodo, (Buell sales ph# 417623-1054) about the Hallett track days. I believe something was said about a $50.00 refunded deposit for a pre register, and the fast guys would be invited back for the Sunday race. |

Do we all have to take the riding class too? IS that for the same price? |

Hello Andrew! Welcome to the group. We all need to get a ride together again soon. How about Tuesday of next week? We could meet at the dealership like we used to. Say 6:30? Work for everybody? Drake |

Drake, Sounds good for me. (if not working on a CHOO-CHOO train) Now on call 24/7 , but will try to make it. Medic, Not shure about the Hart class, that is required on lapping days for the new riders. It could be with Cycle-Connection renting the track, it will be waved? Will have to ck. Andrew, Wellcome also, these guys are as good as gold over here. Brian |

Brian, where did you buy your software from? Just wondering. I got an X-1 I need the TPS zeroed on. And, when I get that pipe from Chase, I'll need the TPS set one the dyno-bustin' XB12R....LMAO Thanks! |

Jason, The software came from American Sport Bike,$200.00. You don't need to buy it, I am always looking for an excuse to ride. (and de-tune your dyno buster bike) I'll call and ck for the TPS setings, what year is your X-1? Are you getting a race ECM to go with the Jardine? IF you keep the same ECM you will not need a reset, just unhook the servo cable at servo and run bike at steady state 3500rpm to reset AFV. When I get back from this next train trip and if the rain will stop, how bout next week? Oh if needed. I can bring the pipe in a backpack. Brian |

Brian, I was planning on getting that pipe tomorrow I think. Or you can bring the pipe. I have a K&N on the bike already. I picked up another race ECM here on BadWeb. So, let the servo think it is still hooked up huh? It might run better with the stock ECM? Oh, and my X-1 is a 2000, I have a service manual, Procedure seems to be the same, zero it w/5.2 -5.6 reading...turn adjust idle...seems the same, I'll burn copies & I got all the paper work with the module. One more thing, did you or have you had you XB to the dealer since your race kit was installed. The parts manager at Route 66 was saying they had to "link" it to my bike for it to work best? He said it "turns the module on"? I couldn't find any supporting evidence, but, he is a friend, from way before he was at the dealership, and he has had a couple of tarted up tubers in the past... Just wondering? |

Jason, I would go with the race ECM, no servo needed. The air box could be opened up with a dermal tool (like the 2007). Not shure about the link up, could be refering to the HD digital tech TPS reset.(VDST reset is the same, as per KV vault) I haven't been in for service since the 1000 mile,$285.00 for oil and TPS reset. Well I added some timming advance,it helped but I think the header is the culprit on the HP output. I should be in town for Wednesday afternoon, will that work for you? Brian. |

Jason, I think Brian is going to come pick the pipe up on his way to Tulsa in the morning. It will need a repack soon and there is some pitting from everyday riding on the underside of the can (none visible unless you are doing a big wheelie lol). I do not have the installation instructions with it, you can probably e-mail Jardine for them or I can send them to you in the mail when I get them from my mom's house. Pretty straight forward though, I can answer any questiosn you have. If for any reason you don't want it then just hang on to it and I'll get it from you at the trackday.
