TT sells the HVMP weights with a right side throttle friction end. Has anyone tried these yet and if yes, can you provide recommendation? Mark |

I think you have the HVMP weights confused with the Throttle Meister weights?. |

No, they make bar end weights with throttle lock built in. See here... http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade/productlist/6 20/ |

Hey, those look good and may be a good integrated way to have a throttle lock. Nice find. |

Mark, those are made by Manic Salamander. HVMP doesn't have throttle locks. My wife owns and runs HVMP so I am telling the truth. |

PS. the ones you listed will not work with the handguards as far as I can tell. |

My mistake. I was looking at the HVMP items on another site and didn't realize that I was posting about a different manufacturer. Mark |

Florida Lime - the throttle locks are cool ideas, but it doesn't fit into the value orientation of HVMP. Also there is a huge liability issue when you sell a product that can lock a motorcycle throttle. Don't get me wrong, manic salamander and TM make nice products, but TM at least just about says, "we'll sell it to you, but we can't recommend you to use it." Regardless, HVMP's are the biggest. |
