Dealer recommendation- Danbury or New Roc? I currently do not own a cycle but am starting to look at either a Buell TT or a Uly. I live in Stamford about 26 miles from the New Roc HD/Buell dealer and about 36 miles away from the Danbury store. Which dealer is going to have a better selection and service? And which dealer has a more active Buell base? I'm wondering if the extra 10 miles to Danbury is worth it. Thank you for any help, Rocky |

Danbury has a very active buell base.i would say a half dozon or so employees ride them. they also curently have all the models and colors on the floor. and i think they are still having a sale on all 06 models |

Rockreid, check out and cross shop both. They are both good dealers. I bought my Uly at Danbury and the service and people there are great. |

I bought mine at Danbury, and I have been very pleased with the sales group there, and the service is pretty good, too. I have no point of reference for New Roc, so I can not help ya there. One thing to consider is that if you buy in New Roc, is 95 gonna be a hassle for service issues, instead of shooting up to Danbury? |

Rockreid, I just bought mine at Danbury and was treated very well. The service guy (Ken?) was pretty cool when I had to change my service appointment. |

Not sure if you guys have seen the sidestand thread on the XB Board: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/327 77/281458.html?1181138354 I found out that my sidestand was about to take a digger and dump my bike. Might be a worth while look into if you have not already checked into it. I posted before and after pics of the sidestand of my '06 CityX. Word on the street is that the '07's have a different setup so it should not be an issue for them. |

Just got home from the first 100 miles on the Drummer. Holy Goodness!!! I'm hoping to shoot out bright and early Saturday for a quick spin as I will be tied up from mid-day on. Sunday morning I will shoot to hit Marcus Dairy. |

Marty,I like the first one, as for tomorrow's ride...I found a nice road in Dutchess county N.Y. that would bring some smiles. Anyone up for a run to woodstock for lunch? An early start would be in order so go to bed early tonite. Let me know. |

The reason to leave "early": some roads I know, some I don't..AND you will be tired by the time we get to Woodstock. If thats too much maybe we can stay on this side of the hudson and lunch in Rhinebeck (N.Y) Here's the route I'm thinking of: From Danbury take rt.39 north to Rt.55, at Wingdale take rt.21(great road) to rt.9 then rt.24, rt.23 up to rt.343 and on to rt.99 to rt.44 EAST (just a little) till we get to rt 83 (your gonna love this road), then take rt.199 to 308 into Rhinebeck. Have lunch! You up for that? |

RT 21 is a sweet stretch with two hard core - hair pin turns. I was up there this morning. Sounds like a killer ride; I wont be able to go cause I need to be back in the city before 5pm... |

Maybe next time Nickcaro, but check out that rt.83 if you ever get up that far north. Nothing but smiles the whole way! |
