I live in Oak Ridge and was wondering if anybody had the stuff to reset the TPS and thinks like that I have an 12R and my wife has a 12scg. I just cant afford the dealer rates, and dont really have confidence in any dealers around this area. Any help would be great or a point in the right direction for help. thanks Tim |

I live over towards Maryville. My new '06 xb9r will be delivered in a couple of weeks. I plan on doing maintenance myself, but what do dealers want for a tps reset? Not sure if I will get the software immediately or not. |

I talked to the guys at Knoxville Harley and they want $225 to $275 just for the dyno runs to tune it. |

Talk to Brad at Smokey Mountain HD/Buell in Maryville. I have ridden and hung out with him and he is quality people. Besides, you have to go that way to get to Deal's Gap and the Cherry Cola anyway! Etennuly is in your area. I can't remember if he has the dodad or not. |

Just went to SM yesterday. Got a service manual and some oil. If I don't get the software, I'll get my first tps reset there. I believe they said it was 3/10 hr, or $15-20. |

Mr_gto Hello from New Market, I'm about 15 miles out on the East side of Knoxville. I don't have the software for the TPS reset, but I know who does and I'm willing to help. Smoky Mountain HD is the best Buell dealership I have had the pleasure of dealing with. Brad is the man for sales and he can direct you to many of us BadWebber's, as he is one as well. Brad has been suffering some kind of brain fart lately, messing around with a shovel something, of some sort, while his City-X has been gathering dust. The wife and I are both Buell riders so feel free to PM me. We'll see if we can hook up sometime. |

I talked to the guys at Knoxville Harley and they want $225 to $275 just for the dyno runs to tune it. Were they implying that they need to do dyno tuning to reset your tps?? Or was that just general tuning price information? A TPS reset should take all of 30 minutes to do. } |

Ratyson: Well i want to reset the TPS and tune it up a little. I heard you had to put it on a dyno to remap the stock ECM. I understand the stock ECM is set up for EPA bs and have heard good things from people who remap them. Etennuly: Hey i would love to ride with you. My wife and i are always out friday through monday riding. If i get my new tires mounted (Pilot Power 2ct's!!!)we will be up at the dragon this saturday morning early. To the tail for breakfast by 8am |

I feel a ride to the East coming on! I've been beating the roads around here for a little over three years now and it is time to get out where I'm lost again. The wife has to work this weekend. Orangeulius, you up for it? Did Congress preside on your side? |

Brad is the MAN if you want to know anything about a Buell. I bought a xb9r from them a few years ago and just trade it in for an xb12r . He helped me out with everything. Still dont know why hes riding that purple shovel thing tho. LOL .Get back on the Buell . |
