I know this'll piss some people off... but I was thinking maybe a Blast engine to replace the tool box, conventional extended forks, Bobber style...
Um... then again, maybe not. |

I've seen some Kool blast powered bobbers and pre-wwII looking bikes. And with fuel prices --- the Blast gets more fun per dollar. |

if you feel the urge to do something out of the ordinary then go for it. if buellistic found out you wanted to do something with a blast, he'd be calling you up everyday wanting to know how your doing. he'd get a kick out of it. |

Humph...! No one's pissed off. The story behind the frame: A welder was keeping it at the plant where we both work. We were the only two guys that rode bikes to work, but at opposite ends of the same spectrum, he being a Harley guy. I found out the welder was also a prospect for the local 1%'er MC. We kinda became friends in a casual "I'll be nice because we're at work" kind of way, but we both talked a lot about bikes. I think he thought I was alright because I never asked him a thing about his social club. One day, he just never came back to work. Apparently he didn't make it past the prospect stage of membership and was asked to leave... town. I assume he was asked with extreme prejudice because I was told... "He ain't never coming back". Hmmm... Anyway, years later, the mfg (stands for manufacturing... as well as other things) plant moved to another facility and the frame was going to be thrown into the scrap bin. I rescued it on the last day before they took the scrap away and now it's mine. Not sure what brand it is. All the identifying marks were ground off, but it fits an iron Sporty, so I assume it's of early 70's vintage. We'll see what happens... I have a feeling it'll be built with whatever engine and parts I come across. It may not even be Buell powered in the end. A big dual-sport bike might provide a decent engine, spoked wheels, and fork. We'll see... |
