Loaded the Buell and the wife in the Buell Hauler and off to Dalonahga (8 hrs to the north of me)... Rode around the Suches area... Had lunch at T.W.O. ... Rode to the Dragon, part of the Cherohola... Back to Dalonahga... Rode for about 400 miles in 11 hrs or so... Low points... Was rained on upon arrival... Dale's (the gas station across from T.W.O.) no longer serves breakfast... My Butt hurts!!! High points... The rain only lasted 15 minutes and did not affect riding... Not much traffic around the Suches area... Suprised by scraping a peg (first time ever for me!)... Was able to hang (two up) with a guy on a Duc (996 I believe), although I belive he may have been sand bagging it... The Dragon was not as crowded as I expected... Bike was commented on in the positive by numerous other riders I met along the way... Returned safely, with not even a close call... To the locals, sorry I didn't call... The wife and I just wanted to slip away and I wanted to show her where Buell Heaven is!!! I'll see you all in October!! Later!! | ||

brought the bike up on monday from tampa to chattanooga. just a couple miles short of 600 that day with rotzaruks wife on the 03 bolt that they got from s1eric down there in lutz. how'd the wife like the wife and had she ever been around there before much less spent that much time on your bike in one day. that's a good little haul in itself. i ended up scraping the bottom of my muffler through to the end cap riding with the wife up there. but oh well. are you still up there or are you already home. to bad about the rain but i'm sure you enjoyed it. | ||

Paint Jealous here!!! If I ever get my bike and my leg back, I'm going to come up missing a few hours myself!!! Hope to be there in Oct, but if anything touches the road besides my boots and tires, it'll be purely accidental Etenn, Nevr's heading north this weekend IN A CAR!!! His bikes broke, after just getting it up here. He meant to ride, he'll be fighting depression by the time he gets back, I'm sure. He took me to pick up some stuff I couldn't tote and unload Sunday, every bike he saw got him to fussing. Rotzaruck!! | ||

If anybody can get away during the week these are great Buell days in the N. Ga. Mountains. The massive influx of tourists hasn't really gotten going and the roads are clear during the week. Call in sick and go riding! |
