I have a D&D muffler (silver) that fits an '03 XB9S for sale. Excellent condition. Prefer to trade for a Buell Race Muffler, Drummer or Special Ops. Will consider a stock 9 muffler.... Otherwise, it's for sale; $325.00 obo. | ||

Sorry it took so long to get back... I just took the 9S around the block for the first time since the purchase. D&D can is way too loud for my area. I immediately put the bike on the lift and removed the muffler. D&D muffler is now in a box and ready to ship to someone. I have the Race Kit installed on my XB12 and like the performance and sound. The Race can is just right for my riding conditions... and it's not too loud. I've received so much PM email, it's taken a bit to sort it all out... and situations change over time with people. So, I'm still negotiating with people. My initial question is still open... How can I tell what (yr) belt is on my bike? The kick stand on my '03 appears different from my '04, right? The '04 "rocks " into place, the '03 doesen't. Upgrade? Any good reason to upgrade? I'm going thru the tire purchasing/installation process... Is it cheaper to: 1. Buy online and find someone to install the tires... or 2. Buy from an independent shop and have them install the tires... or 3. Buy from a Buell dealer and have them install the tires? Do you save enough for the hassle of #1? I'll be finding out shortly. Anything else I need to look for? The bike appears to be solid.  | ||

Tunes, Forgive the idiot question, but will this D&D fit a stock Uly. The main question, is there a difference in the head pipe between a 9 and 12. I don't have anything to trade, but I do have cash..... | ||

It'll fit Slowride. The collector on the 9 and 12 are the same. | ||

I can sell the muffler outright anytime... which does me no good. I bought the bike used, therefore I have no "extra" muffler. I need a muffler... and prefer a trade for a Race Muffler. A stock muffler is the last resort; cause I then have to spend more $ and time to get the muffler modified; then have to deal with a miss-matched ECM map. What started this whole thing is the D&D itself... it's too loud. The Race Muffler is the quietest of the "aftermarket" mufflers... and the Race ECM and Muffler match-up. No issues and I like the performance. Slow_black_ss, I hope you can still run your bike. Too bad about the damage... 'nother time. Glad no one got hurt! | ||

I have a 2004 12R, it sound like this muffler will fit my bike? I have the factory race pipe on it right now, but may be interested in the D&D. I am going to go see my brother on Thursday, he has the D&D on his bike. I want to hear his and mine for comparison before committing, but I think that I may be interested. | ||
