Hey Scott - The water jet is no problem...do you have the steel though. Funny as this may sound, for all the steel they put into their parts over here they have jack for stock that I can get my hands on. For the bends, I do have a press here and can make the long bend on the top and the short bottom tab but the two wings off of the long top fold will have to be done by hand in a vice. I can take care of that for you while I have it. To all: Sorry I couldn't make Wendells - it's now 7:17 and I'm just leaving work now. Hope some of you guys made it and had an extra beer for me! |

Nate, give me a call.I'm not doing much this weekend.I'll bring my manuals and torque wrenches and help with your service. We'll probably need a drive to the dealership for gaskets and fluids.Maybe EARLY saturday morning? It'll cost you a few cups of coffee.Let me know. Could be some riding time this weekend too! Let's not write it off yet |

I've got tons of maintenance stuff that has been on the 'rainy day' list for about 6 months now...so it's not looking good for me. If I get out on the bike at all it will be a miracle. |

I'm riding, but not with you ladies. I'm off to Hudson for round 3 of fixing my mom-in-law's PC and network. The afternoon will be an oil change, new grips, and HEADLIGHT MOCK-UP. This'll be my first non-dealership oil change (insert laughter here, Eric) for me. Anything out-of-the-ordinary I should know? |

I'll do Oxford in the A.M...what time? That place on the corner At the lights? This'll be my first non-dealership oil change (insert laughter here, Eric) for me. Anything out-of-the-ordinary I should know? You Made a smart Choice! .. There is nothing like doing Your Own Work on Your Own Bike! Oil changes are easy, nothing out of the ordinary. If/when you do your fork service I have the spring tool and the oil tool also. You will need them. |

Well I guess no one is ridding today... Don't blame ya...I got wet. What I did do was go on a cruise looking for new roads, Trying to get somewhat lost. Kinda hard in this little town..lol Well I did find a super sweet road near my house off RT16. Some tight twisters and some long sweepers and they are pretty close to each other. I never made it to the end of the road, only a few miles into it, as it started really pouring and I had enough of that, I was soaked and getting cold. Waz up wit dat? It'z Zummer!!! I will check it and the area out this week, may be a new run for us, From what I rode It was more fun than the Thompson area. Stay tuned for more info....If it stops raining. |

From what I rode It was more fun than the Thompson area. sounds promising.Purgatory road was fun too.Later yesterday we rode thru Thompson and another long sought after road i've been looking for.Passed the Vanilla Bean by and continued southwest to Chaplin,to the Bach Dor.Headed east from there then north on 12 back to Thompson, and east to Greenville and then thru Providence(Hot club) and home for 194 miles. The ride from Purgatory to Chaplin was non stop twisties.I wouldn't write off Thompson just yet but,we've become familiar(to the locals??)with the area.A ride should provide many miles/different scenery.Purgatory did that yesterday |

No Worries!!! Thompson is still my favorite ride, Anytime I have a couple hours to kill on the bike more than likely you will find me there. I have a route that takes just under the 2 hour mark for me and it is very relaxing. I will have to go on mapquest and check that area out, But if nothing else it will warm them tires up plenty! |

Sorry I missed it all. All I got to do was 495 north to the in-laws, 9 west to Performance Cycles (for oil), 9 back to 495 south going home. Non-stop BORING! At any rate, I got my oil change done, threw on some new grips and mocked up my headlight bracket in cardboard. It's gonna fit perfectly. I've also got the shop manual, some front pads (riding with you guys has helped me demolish them), and a K&N on order. And I'm not too far from new rubber, either. I'm thinking Diablos? |

afternoon gents.....new to this forum and to buells. i just wanted to introduce myself and maybe get some help/advice. have reciently purchased and rebuilt a 03 xb9r and am in love. last night after a decent ride i notice oil leaking from under the front belt sprocket cover. the fluid is coming from the center of the sprocket. should there be a dust cover or seal there and i just chewed it up? there was also some metal shavings in the area. just wonder if this has happened to anyone or if anyone might be able to help...special tools needed? well...sorry for the book and the poor grammar. looking forward to hearing/riding with you guys in the future |

Cranston, cool, nice to meet you. Bad news though,i think. If you've in fact got an oil leak by the front belt sprocket you may need a new oil seal.Kind of involved but,do-able.Best of luck to you and,we get a decent group out at least once a weekend.Watch this forum and, come join the fun in the twisty roads. |

Hey guys, with the iffy weather I don't know if anyone was still planning on Lowell bike night, but I was reminded today that my daughters track awards ceremony is that night! If it is decent some others are still planning on being there. I rarely back out of stuff, but the kids come 1st! Our rain date was June 12th, hope to see you then. |
