Dave, Haven't had the bow out in a couple months. Priorities are all messed up these days. Spent a couple hours being indoctrinated into accepting a massive new furniture acquisition plan shrewdly devised and masterfully presented by my Architect/Interior Designer boss/wife (Michele). Help? Please? Mommy? |

Daves? arn't you that guy that discounted the crap outta Buell stuff? Well sorry to hear you arn't MR. DISCOUNT any more if that's you, but happy to hear you have found a new career... Ducati Track Day update, WHAT A GROUP OF GUYS! It was a lot of excitement especially when I went to novice... Thanks guys for the info, Hopefully I can find some $$ and time to do it more often... would really like to try out TWS, been around it in a car but not yet a Buell. Any thoughts on actually working for HD/Buell in the retail stores? I hear the benifits are really good... Just curious... |

Bullysses, The last couple of years there was more effort to ride by the DFW locals. As it stands today, it seems a lot of the locals are really doing their own thing and or being hounded by their work obligations such as myself and required to travel extensively. I will you throw you and anyone else on here my number, feel free to call me anytime and maybe we can hook up and ride. Micah Wright (aka Slowride) 214.384.1876 2006 Uly (black of course) |

Hello all, With new riders coming to the area what would yall suggest is the best way to communicate about rides? Does anyone use the TNT site anymore, it has 30 members http://www.thunderbikes.org/ I have yet to successfully log into that site. We still have the Email distribution list with 35 members and the Location/Phone directory with 25 members, or should we just use the BadWeb. |

My two cents: If it ain't broke, don't fix it. This site does a great job of informing those who want to be informed. |

Paul, Brad can fix your login on the TNT page, but to echo David's comments above; I have always had the best luck with the Badweb or the email distro list. I would say post in Badweb and follow up with the distro list. I think Chris used to do this with good success. just my 2cents..... Micah (Message edited by slowride on June 05, 2007) |

Oh yeah I forgot..... CMRA races this weekend on Sat and Sun at Cresson. Chris Haggerty on his 12x will be comin in from GA this weekend and wants to ride. Sounds like we could get a Glenrose run with a stop over at the track for fun..... really I am open to anything, but I know Chris will want to ride this weekend and I will oblige him, if anyone is up for it. |

BTW - the Jetta is dead! The guy who bought it from me totaled it a couple of weeks ago. Over 6 years of work making it go fast, turn quick, and look good... Oh well - he owned it! |

RPM, Running my own archery business now. Getting better every week. Duc, I don't think I was ever MR DISCOUNT? Good deals for sure. Blake, now with the furniture you should be able to go out and get a new bow with no arguments? |

I talk to Greg at Private Track Time who is coordinating the Inside Pass Track Days that are listed on the Buell website. I told him that the Novice and Intermediate groups were shown as full from the time the event was listed on Buell.com for the Motorsport Ranch venue in Cresson, TX on Tuesday, October 23rd. http://www.buell.com/en_us/news_events/insidepass/ motorsport.asp I told him that I knew of no one that had registered. He said they’re holding the spots for the dealers and Buell owners. He said that if I emailed him a list of names and which group they wanted to register in, Novice, Intermediate or Advanced, he would give them first opportunity to register. So if you’re interested, check your calendar and let me know. I told him I would send him a list in a few weeks. It’s only $100 and it includes lunch, drinks, snacks, track pictures, t-shirts and other apparel plus on track test rides. Is there still a Buell only track day near Tulsa in July? |

Most of you have received this from Daniel, but for those that haven't: The Austin Hillcounty Hellbuellies are planning a late September / early October run out to Leakey, TX for the 2007 edition of Thrills in the Hills. DFW Buelligans are especially invited. Follow all the chatter on the Hellbuellies Yahoo! group. |

Derek sold his XB to a kid who subsequently wadded it up. I still have mine, but won't be taking it onto the track. This will be my first trip out there this year. The rains this year with the extra work load have kept me glued to a keyboard. So I'm really chomping at the bits for this event. I kept thinking Eagle's Canyon would open up. But the open date keeps getting pushed back. Oh well. There's always next year to catch up... |

I'll be there, I know none of you have ever seen my face and rarely read a post I write, but I am excited to meet some fellow Buells from the DFW area... I've got my 9r with me, and can't wait to ride this beast either. also, if anybody is in east Texas (Tyler area) and planning on going to this event, I have a cargo trailer with 3chocks, one set is used but would be happy to trailer you down when I go... let me know! duchtr@gmail.com Thanks cowtown for the info gathering that took place, I never would have taken the time to figure it all out with out ya... |

Duc, There are some good roads, but you have to know how to link them together. But it's not going to be like what you are used to. However, NW Arkansas is not that far away and the roads are fantastic! Look up Hwy 123 heading NW out of Clarksville, especially after it crosses over Hwy 7:
We usually make it up there at least once a year. Regarding the track day at MSR, yes, we are headed over Monday evening. What are your plans? Keith (Message edited by skully on October 04, 2007) |
