Did anyone try this: https://www.ironmachine.com/product_info.php?cPath =62&products_id=245&osCsid=1sejsi67umq0mqq04cs5k69 jn3 What surprises me is the statement that it's an OEM part. Yet I never saw it on the Buell website. Also I'm wondering how it fares under the rain. |

It looks stock to me. The perforations do not go all the way down, more like dimples. Stock on the 12R. The 9R has a smooth finish. |

That is a stock/oem seat. The reason you don't see it on the Buell site is because they only show accessories. You will not find oem parts on the site. Fairs fine in the rain. |

For the $159 they are asking for it, I'd rather have the touring/custom seat. |

Thanks for the answers. I've got a tiny piece of the passenger seat missing and was interested at the price of that part ($50) as opposed to the more expensive alternatives (custom or touring passenger seats). I didn't show it since it didn't came with a picture. |
