Hey Shawn, sounds like fun. My girlfriend and I would love to out on the boat with you guys some time. I'm guessing you probably wouldn't mind a little help when you pull that thing up to the gas pump, too! C ya, Chad |

Sounds like a plan Chad! (Help at the pump would be awesome too.) We're pretty much chewing through a $20 to get it to Mill Creek & back. (Only like 20min. one way!) Ouch! Besides that, I just got the call today that they're closing the lab where I work... Nice timing, ehh? I should still be able to go out and do field work, but the sweet job that I've had for the last 9 years is about 4 weeks from being over. It remains to be seen how the rest will play out, but it should make things interesting. If anyone has some inside info on another good job, let me know! What times work best for you guys to go out? We'll be gone this weekend, (sorry Wade!). So far we should be around the weekend of July 9-10th. But we'll be hitting it after work (4pm CST) week nights too. Fasted: Should have called for an update around noon... we we're still debating and that would have tipped it favor or Bloomington! Turned out to be a really nice day too! Later all, Shawn |

EDIT: (since the post was more than 2160 minutes old?) I should have said that we would be around and likely ready to go boating JUNE 9th & 10th, not JULY. Chad, I assume you read what I meant to say and not what I said. Good on you. Probably thinking to yourself, "Guy buys a new boat and is only going to take it out once every month or so?! Yeah, right!) We're not THAT busy. Got the big stuff moved for Wade last night. Man, I've never seen so much cr-- Stuff. I'll be that we filled my trailer 1.5' deep at least 3/4 of the way back one whole time!! It was pretty exhausting! Whew! (Well worth the DQ treat!) Everyone be sure to stop by and bring Wade a housewarming gift and say "Hi!" sometime in the near future! Things he may need, but doesn't have, from my observations include, but are not limited to: hose for the outside, broom, welcome mat, dustpan, mop, vacuum cleaner, laundry basket, shoe rack, trash can, etc... Or maybe just a girlfriend who loves to clean! Hope everyone has a great weekend and CONGRATULATIONS to Wade on his first pad!! Woot! Woot! |

"Things he may need, but doesn't have, from my observations include, but are not limited to: hose for the outside, broom, welcome mat, dustpan, mop, vacuum cleaner, laundry basket, shoe rack, trash can, etc..." Har! Har! Har! See... Shawn just could not identify these items because so much cr-- stuff was surrounding, concealing, or enclosing the said items. Thanks, and thanks for the help again. If anybody wants to come by and say Hi and have a cold beverage this weekend just give me a call and Ill tell you how to get there. 651-249-4548 Enjoy the poker run you folks doing that. |

Hello, I'm new to badweb with my 04 xb12R all blacked out. Just though I would give you guys a shout. I live outside of Crawfordsville. By the way...I saw a red XB Lightning on I-74 Saturday evening at about 5:30 and then again at 7:45. Anybody know who that was? It was nice to see another Buell. |

Howdy all, been a while since I've been around. Hope everyone is doing well! I've decided to sell my Cyclone and pursue other riding interests, so have listed it in the classifieds. So if anybody knows of someone looking for a REALLY nice M2, please send them my way. Thanks!! |

Hey I think I saw you!!! Black R heading south by mall? Good roads...not much. You have to drive 20minutes for a curvy road sign and it takes all of 15 secs to blast through it. Eric |

Hey all... Heather & I are planning on taking the boat to Mill Creek Park (just off of I-70) tomorrow instead of doing the meeting at the dealership. I need to replace the tires on both the Uly & Lightning before I do any more rides. (Belts are showing 360 on each) Those who wish to ride could ride this way and then boat till you're beat. We could also do some group riding around here if anyone is interested, although the roads aren't like they are around Bloomington. Call if interested: (217) 275-6122 home (812) 240-2920 cell |

I got home Wednesday from a 20 day trip out west on the ULY..The trip was 6350 miles on the bikes and 1500 miles in a truck to the starting point in Kansas for a total of 7850 miles covered. We rode all small two lane roads except for two days of interstate. The ULY ran great especially after I had a new fuel pump installed in Hurricane, Utah. The dealer did a great job getting me on the road in 24 hours as he took one off a demo with just a very few miles and shrink wrapped the offending wires on the pump. One of the BMWs broke down..2 week old bike...the ignition would not read the key...so bike would not start..3 days lost there. We were in just about every state west of Kansas... We rode the entire length of California...quite nice and rode 101 in Oregon along the coast.Weather extremes were 108 degrees in Death Valley, Ca at 10:30am to a snow storm at Crater Lake, Or. We went to Glacier NP in Mt. but the road was not open yet..too much snow. The ULY used only 9oz. of oil...Mobil 1 V-Twin 20/50..quite amazing..the bike turned over 30K on the trip. Will try and make a meeting soon..AL |

Sounds like a great trip Al! Wish we could have come along. Aside from your fuel pump issue it sounds like you had a pretty much trouble free trip! What tires did you run? Glad you made it home safe & sound! |

I ran the new Avon Storm (ST). These are the best tires I have used so far...A tip for a long trip...be sure to carry Roadside Assistance. I had to have the ULY towed 140 miles to the nearest dealer in Hurricane, Ut from Bryce Canyon...the bill was....Drums Please.....140 miles at $4.00 per mile which comes to $560.00. My bike insurance..Progressive paid the bill...the fuel pump would have been $550.00 but it was covered under warranty...Cha Ching. |

Hey all, From South Bend here.. Riding a Gray/Orange 2002 M2L Cyclone.... Just found this thread, was wondering why there wasn't an Indiana thread, then I noticed the Hoosier part a couple weeks later. Is anyone going up for the Buell Homecoming this year besides three of us from South Bend??? |

Welcome Brinnutz! Count two more for Homecoming. 1 Uly - 1 Lightning. My wife & I are leaving on the 5th also. We'll be staying that night at the Hampton in Gurnee, IL & then the Holiday Inn in Fond Du Lac, WI on the 6th & 7th. Later all! |

Buelet, make sure to post where your staying in the Homecoming thread. Indy, I see you already have... The two of us won't be leaving till the 6th, so we'll probably miss all the events. We're heading back sometime on Monday, since we'll be missing the factory tour, we are going to be getting a tour on Monday! I had to email them and ask...If anyone wants to join us that'd be great. It'd be nice to grab a beer or several with y'all, but looks like we're all staying at different places. I'm at the Victorian Village in Elkhart Lake. |

If anyone could keep their eyes open for me that would be awesome. I'm looking to purchase either a XB12S/R or a X1. Looking to spend right around $5000(give or take a few hundred). Would like to be in good condition and doesn't matter to me if its modified. Thanks guys! |

I called on that 99 X1 Ed. Its a great sounding bike. Like 9,XXX miles. V&H Pipe, Race ECU, K&N, etc etc. Clear title and never been dropped. He's asking a little more than I would like to spend but I'll see if I can't get him down a lil. His wife made it sound like he was very negotiable. |
