Ok I was gone all last week in the other country of OHIO. Man there is not one good thing about that place. Anyways not sure what the cabin address is but the Dockside Bar and Grill address is 6340 Old Torch Lake Dr, Bellaire, MI 49615. When you turn on to Old Torch Lake Dr the bar is at the end to the left, but there is a very small drive on the right. Take the small drive, and the cottage is all the way down on the left on the water. IS THERE ANY ONE ELSE COMING????????????? |

Hardcorps it doesn't look like it. I have a side job and can't pass up the money. I am going to do the chain conversion real soon an i am thinking about trying the Drummer SS and see how i like it. I need to quit buying toys for my bike. |

Let me know how the chain conversion goes. I did a ton of research on that this winter when I was thinking about doing the same. What kit are you using? |

Saintlys. $230.00 plus shipping. you have to send him your idler so he can modify it but that's included in the price. The final ratio is 2.43 to 1 instead of the stock 2.40 to 1. I am also thinking about doing the 9 primary chain swap for faster acceleration. |

Swampy, Looks like it is you, your big kid, and me. I will be heading up Tuesday to spend time with the wife, and then staying through the weekend. Just let me know what time you are thinking about heading up on Friday so I know what time to expect you. I will try to scout out some good roads, while spending quality time with the family. My wife is coming back here Thursday night, so we will have the cottage to ourselves. My wife is taking up sheets, and towels. All that we need to worry about is food, drink, and fuel. My cell phone number is 734-368-8868. Look forward to see you guys. |

Anybody know the Buell customer service number? I'm tired of owning a bike that doesn't work and I'm tired of dealing with dealerships that have no problem selling the bikes but are incapable of servicing them. |

Swampy, This will be the last time I am on the internet. So if you need anything give my cell phone a call. For some odd reason you decide not to come, or something happens please call me Thursday night or Friday morning. 734-368-8868 Black Belt, What exit do you get off after Grayling? I can figure it out from there. |

Do I enjoy riding the bike? Yes. Having said that, Buell’s are overpriced, underpowered, the dealers in the area don’t carry Buell parts, and are incapable of servicing them. The bike has always sputtered, and forgive me if I don’t just accept that as character. The bike stills sputters, but now I have the added bonus of my engine light flashing. I took it to a Buell dealer in Lexington, KY and they couldn’t figure it out. American had the bike for two weeks and they couldn’t figure it out. Yesterday the ignition stopped working so I had to push-start it. Back when I first purchased the bike the throttle cable was rubbing through a spark plug wire. I found out the other day that my head temp sensor wire is wearing through. Bottom line...I went to American a couple weeks ago to buy brake pads and an oil filter, and as soon as I mentioned Buell the guy behind the counter says “I’ve had it up to here with those Buell’s”. I feel the same way. |

wow... well sorry to hear about that derek. I mean I have over 36,000 miles on my 2002 x1, and I still love it. that is why I want to get a 12R. Peppwave it is up to you to get what you think is good. yes the Buell will have quirks, is it underpowered?? no not to me it is a low end toque, cornering bike.. and it fits that just great. should it have a bit more power, maybe, maybe not... who knows. Over priced.. Oh yeah I will agree w/ that. you do seem to get more of a bike w/ the inline 4's but I like the fact that mine stands out in a crowd. Same for like HD... their bikes are easily 4-5 thousand if not more than their japanese competitors... but they stay in buisness. so it is all how you look I guess. |
