XBob - I wish it was my bike project and that I had the welding/fab skills of Curt Winter... anyway - Curt is a friend of mine and he owns/operates Big Twin Racers (http://bigtwinracers.com/). His bikes just get better & better. He likes Buells, but is trying a similar approach with the Big Twins. The current bike is a Twin Cam he got off of eBay & wears carbon f wheels, Ohlins suspension, & that stout swingarm he fab'd. He also designed and built the frame. This frame has evolved over the last 10 years since building his first big twin sportbike in '97. The guy also has shaped the tank & seat molds. He does everything including paint. The bike prior to the one you see above (gun metal grey) has a 110" Rev Tech Evo engine but does not have near the suspension or running gear. Still a very cool concept & great bike. Curt stops by this site every once in awhile...I'll have him answer more questions if you have them or you can give him a call/email via his website. First track day on my XB12S (3rd track day EVER) I was at Thunderhill Motorsport Park yesterday - Willows CA. Awesome conditions - 85 degrees, slight breeze. Only Buell on the track. People noticed - even though I don't drag knees (YET).
